Furthermore, being bewildered by objects, controlled by objects, that is, being controlled by various detestable aspects of sound, touch, taste, color, and smell, they do not pay any attention to the sounds of what should and should not be done in the next life, as if they have already done them. Thus, this mind craves the present objects, does not understand the future afflictions, and is very forgetful. Bewildered by the desire for the present objects, sentient beings wander in hells, pretas, and animals, or even among gods and humans. Thus, since beginningless time, they do not remember the coarse afflictions they have committed, but only experience suffering. In the hells, pretas, and animals, sentient beings experience unbearable and intense suffering. Since beginningless time, they are difficult to tame and subdue. Such minds can only be tamed by a very vast mind. Then, that monk contemplates, among all beings, who can truly attain the gods who dwell in negligence, and understand the Dharma that is not without essence? He investigates with the wisdom born of hearing or with the divine eye. In the human world, there are giants, cymbal players, or dancers who are extremely intoxicated. They wear saffron robes and dance, then sing the praises of the Buddha's qualities, and from that they obtain wealth, clothes, or the fruit of Bhalalataka, but they do not give them to monks and Brahmins. Instead, they are very happy and enjoy them. Just by wearing saffron robes, after they die and are separated from their bodies, by the power of their karma, he sees that they are reborn into the realm of the gods, and it is very pleasant. Furthermore, the gods who are friends with each other, whose only purpose is to be full, in the forest of Vaidurya trees, the leaves of the trees are gold, and the young branches are entwined with crystal, as well as other young branches, covered with trees, decorated with coral, and surrounded by hundreds of thousands of bees, in the lush green gardens of gold and pearls, they beat drums and sing. Furthermore, on the summit of Mount Meru, the king of mountains, adorned with the seven precious things.

Ornamental Chapter. Like an unbroken chain of burning flames, they also play in lotus ponds of gold, silver, crystal, and lapis lazuli. Moreover, on the other side, in the rows of immeasurable mansions, which are bright and beautiful, they play and fully enjoy themselves. Together with the goddesses, without fear or sorrow arising from the forms of strife and jealousy, without harming each other, those who generate respect and have faith in it experience unparalleled bliss. Then, those gods beat drums and proceed towards the wish-fulfilling tree. Having entered there, whatever they desire in their minds with conceptual thought, they obtain everything in accordance with the heavens. Thus, they obtain the name "Wish-Fulfilling Tree." There, they enjoy the pleasures of the land for a long time, desirable and delightful. Then, they proceed to that high Mount Meru made of gold. Adorned with various waterfalls, they ascend it. Surrounded by hosts of gods, emitting songs, cymbals, and the sounds of musical instruments, making the ears buzz, their minds immersed in it, the gods hear sweet sounds in their ears. Noble and Sacred Dharma of Mindfulness, Chapter Thirty-Eight. What is seen by the eyes of the gods also experiences immeasurable and vast bliss, such as the forms, attire, and various ornaments of the gods, and the forms, attire, and ornaments manifested by their own karma, seeing various sights more and more. On Mount Meru, there are also various forms of gardens, forests, pavilions, and lotuses, and similarly, various gardens and nearby gardens, with fragrant scents of numerous objects manifesting, the gods smell these scents, being very satisfied, and become strongly attached to the touch of the land. Whatever the gods wish to touch is as soft as a Kacalindika. Without dust, without dirt, unspun, undyed, with a fragrant scent, very captivating to see. Thus, the object of touch satiates, intoxicates, and abides the gods. Furthermore, whatever is thought in the mind is endowed with many qualities.
