Thus, they spend a long time, but they do not know the time, because they are completely controlled by unconsciousness, they are unaware of it. When they play again, there is a mountain called "All-Joyful Mountain," which is five yojanas wide and ten yojanas high, some sit on top of the immeasurable palace, some ride on the backs of birds and climb. Until the karma that has been done and accumulated is exhausted, those who abide in heedlessness play with each other and enjoy various pleasures. Then, they will die from the world of the gods, and after death, they will be reborn in the hells, pretas, and animals, just as karma leads them. If, due to the karma to be experienced in other lifetimes, they are born among humans equally with people, then in accordance with that karma, they will always be without illness and have a beautiful complexion. They will not be punished by kings, nor will they be beaten by merchants or householders. They will be seen as very happy and have clear wisdom in their minds. Then, the monk, knowing the ripening of the fruits of karma, contemplates the abode of the gods of the Thirty-Three. Through the knowledge gained from hearing, he sees in detail how the abode of the gods exists. There, he wonders, by what karma will beings be born there? He investigates through the knowledge gained from hearing and finds that those virtuous people who engage in benefiting themselves and others, are unwavering, do not harm others, have an upright nature, and have become the work of humans. They have made the essence of virtuous deeds, the result of which is happiness, coolness, the result of which is coolness, happiness, auspiciousness, the result of which is auspiciousness, are worshipped by all people, are loved by all people, bring happiness in this world and the next. Those who depart from this world and become parents in the next world, who have become a refuge, who bring about many happinesses, who are born having done happy deeds, all do so because of their good deeds.
