The place called 'High Tower' is the summit of Mount Sumeru, with a circumference of ten yojanas in all directions. On it is a pond called 'Extremely Beautiful,' filled with seven kinds of precious lotus flowers, including blue lotuses, red water lilies, and water lilies. The water is clear and without impurities, and the sounds of swans and geese are pleasing to the ear. It is completely surrounded by palaces, adorned with pillars of seven precious jewels, and surrounded by gardens and nearby groves. The scenery is delightful, and the gods are surrounded by hosts of goddesses, dancing, laughing, and playing. They drink the divine wine, free from the fault of intoxication, and eat other sweet fruits that have transformed into the six flavors of desire. They drink the wine from these fruits together with the goddesses, who wear various ornaments and attire. On the other side, the goddesses sing, laugh, and are skilled in playing the lute, flute, and drum. The goddesses and gods, who dwell in mutual joy, surround the pond. The gods and goddesses, surrounded by various pleasing things, play for a long time, enjoying all kinds of pleasures. Then, if a long time has passed, those gods will go from that side of the pond to the delightful pleasure grove, which is pleasing in every way. Their bodies are smeared with garlands of flowers, pollen, and perfumes, their own radiance illuminating themselves. They play together with the powers born from inferior, intermediate, and superior deeds. In accordance with the cause of their actions, pleasant feelings will arise. To the extent that they have done good deeds, to that extent they will see pleasant sights, becoming the object of eye consciousness. Thus, if they have done inferior deeds, they will see sights corresponding to those deeds, and the things seen will be the same. If they have done intermediate deeds, they will see intermediate, pleasing sights, and the things seen will be the same, thereby producing an intermediate pleasant feeling. If they have done superior deeds, then the form, size, color, shape, and appearance seen by that god will be extremely pleasing.

Suffering will be seen, all the pleasures of the heavenly realms, and whatever is sought in all places, all objects of form, smell, and touch are like that. Among these, the gods themselves are a whole. Otherwise, the ripening of karmic results will not become three kinds. Therefore, the three kinds of pleasantness should also be distinguished, and similarly, through their respective actions, the goddesses possess beautiful appearances, decorations, and attire, which should also be distinguished. Then, the gods enter the delightful gardens, and they are never satisfied with sound, touch, taste, form, and smell. All of these were seen by that monk, and then he spoke in verses: When the sun at the end of the eon fiercely burns, the oceans will also dry up. Even after hundreds of millions of eons, one will not be satisfied with the forms seen. Rain and other waters may fill the ocean. But looking at forms like the ocean, one will never be satisfied. Never satisfied with desires, beings filled with sorrow, whatever craving they possess, how can that craving be considered happiness? The happiness that arises from desire, the wise do not desire that kind of happiness. Liberation from desire, that is the supreme happiness that transcends happiness. Mixtures that resemble happiness are like food mixed with poison. Separation from craving is like food mixed with milk. The darkness of ignorance, ignorant children are burned by desire. The forests of Malaya are like being devoured by evil insects. For those with craving, their thoughts are countless. Discriminating thoughts are never satisfied, and they will be completely destroyed by the Lord of Death. Those whose discriminating thoughts are dominated by desire dwell in the realm of craving. They have not seen the share of happiness, thus the Tathagata knows. Desire is the ultimate deceiver, it is the dharma of delusion, like dreams and Gandharva cities, it is accumulation and emptiness, without essence. Like illusions and bubbles, similarly like Kimpa fruits. Desire is of no benefit to the world, it is proclaimed like fire. Whoever knows the faults of desire, that person will be deluded by experiencing the results. The one who sees that which is steadfast will eliminate doubt.
