They emit various sounds and play. There, those gods who have entered the garden from the cave are as beautiful as the golden light gathers the leaves of the Sinduka tree, and like burning gold and bronze. Those gods look at each other's objects and say: Look at the power of this heavenly palace! Here, the power of our heavenly palace doubles the yellow color. They are very happy in those various heavenly palaces, where they also feel happy and play because they have obtained and possess the merits of the five desires. Those who are attached to the heavenly realm are not satisfied with desire, just as the sacrificial fire is not satisfied, the gods themselves are not satisfied with the rivers of pleasant senses of sound, taste, shape and smell. As long as the karma that has been done and accumulated has not been destroyed and abandoned, they play in it and enjoy happiness. When the karma is exhausted, they will die from the heavenly realm again, and after death, they will be reborn in hell, hungry ghosts, and animals, just as karma leads. If they are reborn in the human realm because of the karma to be experienced in other times, then in accordance with the cause of that karma, he will always be very happy. The body is covered with garlands, powders, and ointments, and the mind is always full of joy, becoming a king or a great minister with supreme wealth, seeing all people happy, healthy, and unharmed. Then, the monk knows that the fruits of karma are ripe. He contemplates the abode of the gods of the Thirty-Three Heavens. Through the knowledge gained from hearing, he sees how the gods wander in the lower and higher heavens. He thinks: By what karma will beings be reborn here? He observes through the knowledge gained from hearing, and finds that it is those who have abandoned killing and taking what is not given, for example: those who kill snakes for a living, splitting the heads of snakes to extract jewels, this

Thinking that these treasures will sustain us, they kill those snakes. They do not commit such acts of killing, nor do they intentionally harm ants and the like. They do not kill other sentient beings by perceiving them as sentient beings. These are the ways of abstaining from killing. What is it like to abstain from taking what is not given? It means not stealing even a blade of grass or a clod of earth with a thieving mind, and not taking even the slightest thing that is not given. For example, stealing scriptures or other similar things with a thieving mind, and then taking them to study their contents, these are also abstentions. What is giving like? Even if life is very difficult, one is not stingy with what one possesses. One offers robes, food, bedding, and medicine for the sick to those who have attained the first dhyana (meditative absorption). Similarly, one offers alms. One works together for the well-being of the place where the Sangha (community) resides, so that the Sangha may dwell in peace. In this way, one is happy to give, and one also firmly establishes others on the path of virtue. A person who turns away from sin, is virtuous himself, and is extremely enthusiastic about benefiting others, will, upon leaving the body, be reborn in a happy realm, in the lower or higher positions among the gods of the Thirty-Three Heavens. In those places of rebirth, which are extremely pleasant, the ground is as soft as a variegated carpet filled with cotton. When one places one's foot on the extremely smooth ground, it makes a "nem" sound. Then, when one lifts one's foot, it makes a "par" sound, and it is very soft. For example, if the wind is strong and the water is agitated, uneven waves will appear, and then if there is no wind, it will become calm. Similarly, that ground is also low and high everywhere. Then, that place is also very clean everywhere. For example, just as a mirror is very clean and can reflect images in it, the images of the gods also appear in those places. Then, wonderful sights of the gods also appear in that place.

I, if someone thinks of those other gods, or thinks of becoming other gods, then just as it is written in the letters, or as it is clearly written in all the letters, like that, individually knowing those gods, and individually clearly knowing, and then again playing very much with those goddesses. Then, what other wonderful things are shown in those places? Like this, all the happiness that those gods want will be achieved, and like that, those gods in the thirty-three heavens, in the high and low places, experience happiness. Then, those gods who live and play in the garden, go to the garden to enjoy themselves, like this: the garden called "Delicious Wine Garden," is a huge garden, decorated everywhere with nets of sounding bells, adorned with various kinds of trees, a garden distinguished by various birds, flowers, and fruits. There, the gods are surrounded by five kinds of musical instruments and play, experiencing the very pleasing fruits and happiness of the five senses. Then, in those places there are gardens of immeasurable palaces, like the Salba Garden. In that garden, when the gods go to the garden to enjoy themselves, those trees grow new forms, just as those goddesses can easily pick the fruits of happiness. That garden is also born from the seven precious jewels, adorned with trees like the light of the rising sun, adorned with flowers and fruits of various colors, adorned with various birds that make sounds and are happy, the birds living in the leaves make sounds, just as the whole garden is making sounds. Like that, in the very happy garden, those gods are happy because of their attachment to the six realms, they laugh, play, and enjoy all kinds of happiness. They, like this, from the very delightful garden that pleases the eyes, ears, and nose, go to the top of Mount Meru called "High Rise." Those goddesses who look beautiful and are adorned with ornaments, are singing songs nearby.
