Saying "Yes," the rain falls well, whenever it falls, the rain falls abundantly in season. Cows and Brahmins are also its fruits, not other fruits. When one does not consider it ghee, does not consider it 'para,' does not consider it a renunciate, does not consider it a Brahmin, and beings arise who do not possess the Dharma and do not follow the Dharma, then the Naga king who possesses the Dharma, the son of Norgyé, etc., will be defeated, and the Naga king Rabjom, the Naga king Gyingpa, etc., will be victorious, causing bad harvests, unskillful rainfall, heavy rains that ruin crops, and droughts. The Brahmin logicians will change their arguments, saying, "This is the fault of the stars, this is the fault of the planets, this is the fault of the season, this is the fault of the omens." In this way, the logicians who do not clearly understand the fruits of karma, although they change their arguments in this way, do not see that very thing. Why is that? Because my disciples, or having heard my Dharma and Vinaya, primarily focus on individually understanding the ripening of karmic fruits, or other than individually understanding the fruits, the realm of gods, the realm of Brahma, the beings including renunciates and Brahmins, and the realm of gods, humans, and asuras do not enter in this way, but see something else. Then, again, monks, understanding the ripening of karmic fruits, contemplate the realm of the asuras. When the Nagas who do not possess the Dharma and do not follow the Dharma are defeated by those who possess the Dharma, then the asura necklaces will know, and the asura necklaces and those who dwell in the city of asura star necklaces, and others who dwell in groves and forests, all of them will be dejected, lose their splendor, and return home with shame on their faces, saying, "Alas, we asuras are unable to defeat the gods and have lost our splendor. When will we be able to defeat the gods?" Having said this, the asura necklaces say to Rahu, the asura.

said, "Like this, before long, we will be able to defeat the gods, please make an effort." Having heard these words, the Asura King Rahu said to the Asura Necklace and the Asura King Steadfast, "Like this, before long I will be able to conquer the gods, including the King of Gods, you should be smaller than my heart." Having heard these words from Rahu, the Asura Necklaces were very happy and returned to their abodes. Then, the Bhikshu who knows the ripening of karmic results observed the Asura's city of Star Garland, and also separately observed the outside. The Necklaces wondered, how many gardens and forests are there outside? He observed with the wisdom born of hearing, the gardens, birds, forests, nearby gardens, lotuses, riverbanks, and lotus ponds of the Asura Necklaces, filled with three thousand yojanas, adorned beautifully by swans, ruddy shelducks, geese, and other birds, closely adorned, lovely everywhere, pleasant everywhere, happy and very joyful, seeing that there were always many. There were seven great gardens there, namely the golden lower jaw cloud, always pleasant, the joyful nursery, the fruits always beautiful, the wind comfortable, Dindi all joyful, and adorned. These are the great gardens where the Asura Necklaces dwell. Those places are also filled with Asuras who are always happy, seeing the Asuras enjoying the fruits of their karma. Then, the Bhikshu who knows the ripening of karmic results again observed the ripening of the karmic results of the Asura Necklaces, wondering, which of the Necklaces will be born there? He observed with the wisdom born of hearing, which outsiders perform sacrifices in a fixed, sinful, and flawed way, arranging very many foods and drinks, but not giving to those who uphold morality, this is a bad offering that has not been cultivated with the mind.

That generosity, that generosity, after separating from the body, falls into evil destinies, and is born among the animal realm and the Asura necklace. Inferior generosity, intermediate generosity, and supreme generosity will experience inferior happiness, intermediate happiness, and supreme happiness. It is seen that the result is in accordance with the cause. Then, again, the monk who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma contemplates the ripening of the fruits of karma of the stable power of the Asuras. By what ripening of the fruits of karma do the stable ones rule the kingdom of the Asuras? He investigates with the knowledge arising from hearing. Thus, having become a human, living by stealing the wealth of others, with a mind devoid of thought, to one who is free from the desires of outsiders, the act of satisfying him with food, he sees that this enables him to rule the kingdom of the Asuras. Then, again, that monk contemplates the life called Asura Necklace. How long can the life of the Asura Necklace last? He investigates with the knowledge arising from hearing or with the divine eye. Six hundred years of humans are counted by the Asura Necklace as one day and one night, and it can last six thousand years. There is untimely death. The result of good and bad deeds depends on all actions. He contemplates the place of the second Asura gathered in the animal realm, and abides following the Dharma. All beings belonging to samsara rely on the Dharma, and the practitioners of the Dharma protect the Dharma. By good deeds, they are born among gods and humans, and by bad deeds, they are born among sentient hells, pretas, and animals. Then, again, the monk who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma contemplates, how do the wandering gods, after hearing from the yakshas with great magical powers, what will they do? He investigates with the knowledge arising from hearing. Thus, the wandering gods say to the Four Great Kings and the holders of the garland of gods, "The Asuras do not possess the Dharma and do not follow the Dharma."
