It is impossible to make an example of all places. Thus, the fire of desire burns from the six gates, which is extremely unbearable, burning in the heart. That happiness is like the suffering of an image, which is manifestly decaying, riding on those birds. With musical instruments possessing five limbs, they take the pleasing and unparalleled sound, and look at all the feet of Mount Sumeru. They see gardens and nearby gardens, perfect lotuses, forests and hillsides, trees and one side, lotus gardens covered with many lotuses, filled with various birds, gods and goddesses and sons of goddesses playing with each other. There are hundreds of thousands of joys in that place. Although all the extremely distinct joys are seen, the desires of those are never satisfied. The gods of desire, whose minds are distracted by the intensity of the desire for joy, are not satisfied by the senses of those realms. Thus, for a long time, he dwells in the immeasurable palace on the birds, and among the sixty thousand kotis of mountains, he looks at all those who dwell on Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains. Well done by the gods, unparalleled in all places, pleasing, many jewels blazing. All four sides are flat, and are extremely distinct with four kinds of colors. That is, beryl and silver and gold and crystal. With the extremely excellent Mount Sumeru, he looks at it completely and goes to his own place. Thus, those who ride on the birds think of those birds in various ways. However one thinks of color and shape and appearance and form, it changes accordingly. Then again, he rides on those birds and goes to the place called the pool of water and. That pool is also five yojanas in all directions, and is flat in all directions, Adorned with various jewels such as emeralds and beryl, and other lotuses are also beautifully adorned. Going to the place where the well-done deeds manifest, there, together with those goddesses, they play with those who are perfect and endowed with the five qualities of heavenly desire. Between those lotuses, honey like bees.

They also drink those, and also eat nectar. They enjoy the fragrance, taste, and color of the gods, those foods that are as pure as the moon and have a very rich taste. They also wear those clothes, enjoying desires to the fullest, and until the karma they have done and accumulated is exhausted, they happily enjoy themselves with them. Afterwards, they die from the world of the gods, and after death, according to how karma leads them, they are born into hell, hungry ghosts, and animals. If they share a common destiny with humans, and are born as humans, in accordance with that karma and its cause, that person is always very happy, and they will see themselves born among kings or great ministers where chariots and gardens are very abundant and everyone is happy. Then, the monk, knowing the ripening of the fruits of karma, contemplates the abode of the gods of the Thirty-Three. With the knowledge arising from hearing, he sees how the abode of the gods, called the Essence of Jewels, exists. Thinking about which beings will be born there, he investigates with the knowledge arising from hearing. Those men who are virtuous and wish to benefit others, who do not kill, do not steal, and also prevent others from doing these things, are fully established in the path of virtue. If one asks, how many kinds of states are there in which one does not kill? In this regard, seeing that from the honey of bees and bumblebees, worms arise from heat and moisture. Because of the fear of killing, they do not eat honey, and if others eat it, they also prevent them, and do not rejoice in it, knowing that it is sinful, so they abandon it. They do not mix it in any way, and do not even look at it out of the corner of their eye; these are the states of being separated from killing. If one asks, what is the nature of not taking what is not given? In this regard, having taken vows, at the place of a stupa, they do not even fan the light of a butter lamp offered to the Buddha, nor do they use it to do their own work. They do not even take ink from it, and they are afraid even of the slightest thing.
