Having decided, he spoke: Virtuous deeds cause beings to be revered in the realm of the gods. Likewise, non-virtue leads to hell. Such is the transformation of karma. Having attained the realm of the gods, one should not kill any god in particular. Where desire does not harm, one goes from happiness to greater happiness. Those bound by the long rope of karma, wandering in existence, are driven helplessly by karma, like enemies bound by a wheel. Just as the force of wind in the sky shatters a feather duster into pieces, so those wandering in existence drift upwards and in all directions. Just as a lotus arises from causes and conditions, beautiful, so too, by virtuous deeds, birth in the realm of the gods is beautiful. Just as crystal is pure and clear, just as the sky is pure, so too, the mind is pure and goes to supreme bliss. By guarding these five, one is always freed from the three bonds, and by surpassing one dharma, one is revered in the realm of the gods. Those who are shameless and without modesty, and who are friends with the rude and wicked, are like poison and fire. The wise should guard against them. Truth and generosity, as well as patience and constant virtuous friends, and constant love for beings, are the provisions for the journey to the realm of the gods. Those who have no deceit in their minds, who are moved by happiness and remain in equanimity, whose karmic results are manifest, come to the abode of the gods. Holding dharma and non-dharma as essential is the life force of all the world. Thus, there is no other protection than dharma. Therefore, rejoice in dharma. Whoever abandons all dharma and delights in doing evil to others, is tormented by evil and always becomes a sufferer. Having attained the realm of the gods, if one becomes attached to the heedless, one's virtuous deeds will come to an end, and one will not know the end of death. Where there is no death, that is always happiness and goodness. Those bound by the noose of death never have happiness. As one gains happiness, so the multitude of desires increases. Those tormented by the fire of desire lead beings near to hell. Gods should not be heedless. One should not be extremely heedless with inferior qualities. Those diminished by the fault of heedlessness, thirty-three

One dies from where one is. It should be done that way. When those (things) are shown, the goddesses, due to being distracted and their wisdom and intellect being stolen by worldly desires, and the birds emitting various sounds, (even if) that is true, they will not hear it. They will follow gardens and gardens near gardens, pavilions, and flowing water. If they go to a pavilion called "Kungarawa Dewanay" (meaning all rejoice and live in peace), which is on a high mountain somewhere. On that high mountain, there is a place called "Birds Manifest Joy," (where) the birds, together with the female birds, rejoice with each other and are very eager to watch each other, playing in the pavilions and various lotus ponds. Then, seeing those birds, the gods think like this: 'Alas, these birds of various shapes emit various sounds and are delightful. I should ride on the collection of celestial birds that can harmoniously emit sounds or emit various sounds, and go to see the gardens and the gardens near the gardens, and the pavilions.' Then, as soon as this thought arises, the birds of those gods turn into huge bodies and quickly approach the place where the gods are. Then, the gods will touch those birds with their hands. After touching, they will also ride on them. Then, as soon as they ride on the birds, the flocks of birds manifested by karma and manifesting joy fly into the sky. Then, as soon as they ride on the backs of those various birds, they will think of immeasurable palaces filled with seven treasures, as well as gardens and gardens near gardens, pavilions and flowing water, and lotus flowers blooming, and various birds playing nearby. Then, as soon as this thought arises, on the backs of those birds, immeasurable palaces will appear just as the gods thought in their hearts. Then, after those gods, the goddesses holding various ornaments follow and closely engage in play, flying from the center of the sky, flying from one place to another. When they all play and closely engage in the pleasures of the heavens, they will think that the places of the heavens are delightful, very delightful, and extremely delightful. They repeatedly contemplate those places and are deluded by millions of times of desire. Like this, all sentient beings...
