彼。 往昔忆念，略有承诺者，谓对僧众略有财物承诺，或如是对佛与法公开承诺，其后生不忍之心，说我未曾承诺，且对僧众亦因其承诺而受损，则其妄语已作且积，以有为之果，将生于名为有情地狱长受之处。 彼处将生此等损害，即如，所说有情地狱复苏等，所有彼等如前发生之上，有此差别，即如，阎罗卒以针尖极长，锐利纤细且极燃者刺之，彼因受此苦而衰弱，发出哭声。 彼发出哭声者，即如，充满箭矢之坑，如是彼之口与舌，恒时充满彼等针，彼虽因受此苦而衰弱，然不能发出哭声或哀嚎。 以妄语欺骗自心，且欺骗自他者，将恒时感受与他者不同之感受。 纵自地狱有情道解脱，然所有支分与肢节如毛孔，且所有身体衰败者，于彼处随其所至而因长受衰弱堕落。 彼如何如何堕落，如是如是极锐利之针将刺入其身，彼复为彼等针屡屡折磨，且发出极大之声，然以物掩口而压制，则呻吟且于内呻吟。 若彼等针偶从口出，则彼能发出哭声，否则以物掩口而压制者则呻吟。 于极燃之铁地上，辗转翻滚，极没入且极进入而摇动，阎罗卒以衰弱之斧，短矛，巨箭，木槌与兵器，令其身所有处皆破碎。 如是妄语者，直至其罪业摧毁，舍弃且未尽灭之前，于数百万俱胝年中。

That. In the past, remembering and making a slight promise, such as promising a small amount of property to the Sangha, or openly promising to the Buddha and Dharma, but later feeling unbearable and saying, "I did not promise," and also causing harm to the Sangha due to that promise, then that lie is made and accumulated, and as a result of conditioned phenomena, one will be born in a place called the long-suffering sentient being hell. There, these harms will occur, such as, all those hells for sentient beings, including revival and so on, will occur as before, but with this difference: for example, Yama's people will pierce them with needle tips that are extremely long, sharp, thin, and extremely burning, and they will weaken from feeling this and emit cries. That emitting of cries is like this: like a pit filled with arrows, their mouths and tongues are constantly filled with those needles. Although they weaken from feeling this, they cannot emit cries or wails. Those who deceive their own minds with lies and deceive themselves and others will always experience feelings that are different from others. Even if they are liberated from the path of sentient being hell, all their limbs and branches will be like pores, and all their bodies will be weakened. There, wherever they fall, they will fall into long-suffering and weaken. However they fall, in that way, extremely sharp needles will pierce their bodies, and they will be repeatedly tormented by those needles and make extremely loud noises, but they will be suppressed by covering their mouths, and they will groan and groan inwardly. If those needles occasionally come out of their mouths, then they can emit cries, but otherwise, those who are suppressed by covering their mouths will groan. On the extremely burning iron ground, they roll around, sink deeply, enter deeply, and shake. Yama's people, weakened, use axes, short spears, large arrows, mallets, and weapons to shatter their entire bodies. Thus, those who lie, until their sinful deeds are destroyed, abandoned, and not exhausted, will remain for hundreds of millions of kotis of years.

They will experience those feelings. After that, they will be liberated from that sentient hell. After liberation, if they are not reborn as pretas and animals due to karma that will cause them to experience other times, but are reborn as humans with the same fate as humans, then the result that matches that karma and cause will make them poor and their words will not be believed. No matter who they entrust things to, they will not be able to simply believe their promises, and because they are very poor, they will see them become hopeless. Then, also, a monk, through knowing the ripening of the fruits of karma, observes the surroundings of the great sentient hell of wailing. Through the wisdom that arises from hearing, he sees a place called the sentient hell of boundless feelings. There, he wonders what beings will be born from, and so he observes that they will be born from killing, taking what is not given, sexual misconduct, and drinking alcohol. Lying occurs in this way: merchants who have entered the ocean are bribed by pirates by the captain of the sea with wealth, or disputes arise because of wealth. Either those pirates themselves, or some of those merchants, create disputes, and the captain says to those merchants: 'Like this, I will take you to the island of jewels.' After promising them in this way, they lie and take them to a desert island. There, if they clearly see the blue flag, they do not tell those merchants that the pirates are coming. Those merchants also believe that the captain is telling the truth and will not deceive us, so they stay there. As a result, the captain allows the pirates to take the wealth of those merchants, and he himself also robs that wealth. That liar, after leaving the body, falls into the evil path and is reborn in the sentient hell of boundless feelings. There, these harms will occur, just as previously stated, in the sentient hell of revival and other hells, all of those will occur there, and what especially occurs is that those who are born in that sentient hell, their eyes will be drawn by extremely burning, dry eye demons.
