Kara and, Kumbhira and, Natra and, Nyaphyi and, Dung, etc., beings born from eggs live on the food of thought. If a mother or father thinks of their child, they are satisfied by that thought. Then they grow and live, and also do the work of food. Thinking about where they will be born from that, the monk thoroughly contemplates, and he examines with the wisdom that arises from hearing. A person who is foolish and does not clearly understand karma and its results promises others, saying: 'I will give you a small amount of wealth, food, or riches in half a month or a month.' When that poor person hears those words, they become happy, thinking: 'This benefactor has promised me, a poor person, that he will give to me.' He is very happy in his mind, and just like that, in half a month or a month's time, he comes and goes to him, but that wicked person speaks empty words. That person will leave their body and fall into a bad rebirth, being born in the hell realms of sentient beings, in the realms of joy and joylessness. Then, even after being liberated, if they are born among animals, just like that, because he deceived that person and made him happy, by that power, he will obtain the food of thought. If he is born among humans, in accordance with that karma and cause, he will be seen to become that person's slave. Then again, monk, knowing the ripening of the fruits of karma, he contemplates the fourth food of the animal world, called joy. He thinks with the wisdom that comes from hearing: 'In the animal realm, there are animals that live on the food of joy, which is completely afflicted. In the forest caves, the great snake called Ajagara lives by eating the food of joy and wind. There are also creatures like Gala Golika and those called mountain dwellers, and others as well.' For those, the joy food of the gods of clear light is to live on the joy food of harmless minds, but the joy food of animals is to have views of resentment and minds that hold resentment tightly. Thinking about where they will be born from those, he examines with the wisdom that comes from hearing.

If one has a strong sense of hatred, or whose nature is hatred, which is in accordance with the cause of resentment, and if one with a strong sense of ignorance commits killing, then upon separation from the body, that one will fall into evil destinies and be born into the hells of sentient beings. If one has a basis of resentment and attachment, and is born among animals, one will eat food and air of attachment. If one is born as a human with the same fate as humans, due to being in accordance with that karma and cause, one will always suddenly, together with others, fight for no reason, and one will see things related to fighting. Then, O Bhikshu, one who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma, contemplates the boundless world of animals in another way, and wonders how beings in the water are born. When one investigates with the knowledge arising from hearing, if one is of weak mind and weak discernment, and dies while tormented by thirst, then upon separation from the body, that one will fall into evil destinies and be born in the water.

It is like walking after seeing a rainbow. Walking with the body is due to the difference in Dharma nature, like birds. Being as swift as thought belongs to the Tathagata Buddha. Just as one thinks in the mind, one can go to another place. This is also due to the differences in the karma of the three realms. Thus, it is seen that miraculous powers transform into three types. The Noble and Sacred Dharma, the Establishment of Mindfulness.
