Observing around, he saw the hell called "Incomparable Harm." There, he wondered, by what karma do beings arise in that place? Upon observing, he learned that it was because they universally practiced, cultivated, and extensively engaged in killing, taking what is not given, sexual misconduct, drinking alcohol, and lying. For example, for the sake of sugarcane and land collection, if one seizes and disputes the boundaries of fields, etc., with lies and deceit, and deceives others with lies, then that person, upon separating from the body, will fall into the evil path and be born in the hell called "Incomparable Harm." There, these harms will occur, that is, all the hells of sentient beings, such as the Reviving Hell, etc., will occur as before. The harm that occurs to the beings in the hells is like this: just as a blacksmith strikes and hammers iron with two bellows filled with air, so too do the messengers of Yama blow into and throw the hell beings into that hell with two bellows. They blow into and throw them with all the heat created by karma. The striking and hammering is like striking iron. They will be born again, and after being taken out from there, they are put into pottery, and until their sinful karma is destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted, they are boiled like boiling beans. They will be liberated from that hell, and even if they are liberated, if they are not reborn as hungry ghosts and animals because of the karma of having to experience other times, if they are born as humans with a connection to humans, then due to the result corresponding to that karma, they will always suffer from thirst and be angry, and all people will not trust them. Then, the monk, with his ability to know the ripening of karma, observed the surroundings of the Great Crying Hell, and he saw the hell called "All Darkness." There, he wondered, by what karma do beings universally practice, cultivate, and extensively engage in that place? Upon observing, he learned that it was because they universally practiced, cultivated, and extensively engaged in killing, taking what is not given, sexual misconduct, and drinking alcohol.

A liar, if he sleeps with another's wife, and then around the king's palace says, "I did not sleep with this woman," and clearly causes harm to that woman's family, then he will fall into a bad path after death, and be born into all the dark hells. There, these harms will occur, such as, the crown of the head being pierced, the tongue being pulled out, and then being cut off by swords. Cut and cut, and it will be reborn again. Also, with blazing weapons of Huluka, for as long as his sinful deeds have not been destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted, he will be cut for millions of years. Then, Bhikshu, one who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma, will observe the retinue of the great crying hell, that is, the hell called darkness and smoke. He thinks, which beings will be born there? He observes with the wisdom arising from hearing, those who kill, take what is not given, commit adultery, and drink alcohol, will constantly practice and meditate, and will become very numerous. A liar, who lives for the profit of merchants, says, "This thing is the property of the internal rules of merchants, not of others." If he lies like this, and steals things by deception, then he will fall into a bad path after death, and be born into the hell world called darkness and smoke.
