The retinue of that great hell is as follows: emitting sound, extremely emitting sound, feeling immeasurable, feeling rough, hot, and difficult to endure, unparalleled harm, all darkness, smoke between worlds, falling completely like a butterfly, accompanied by death, transforming into something else, without joyful thoughts, causing harm to each other, like a forest spreading with fire, feeling long, feeling boundless, a crow's beak like a vajra, devouring blood and bones, eleven flames. These are the sixteen retinues of the great crying hell of sentient beings. If one asks, by what actions do sentient beings take birth in the great crying hell? The answer is: by constantly relying on, practicing, and increasing the proximate cause of karma, the path of karma, and the result of karma, they will each be born in the great crying hell. There, these harms will occur: for example, the tongue, which is as soft as a lotus petal, is pulled out of the mouth and stretched out for three yojanas, and the person of death stands there like fear, and seizing it, the people of death dig, plow, and completely furrow it with burning iron plows. They strike with burning red copper hammers, and worms with burning mouths are born from the tongue, and they devour the tongues, but the liar cannot put those tongues back into his mouth. 彼（众生）生于大号叫地狱的处所后被焚烧，由业所驱使的身体里生出的虫子们，啃食身体剧烈燃烧的肠子。住在其中的虫子们和疾病，感受着难以忍受且炎热剧烈的感受。外面也被两种痛苦损害，即：由火产生的地狱众生，阎罗卒用各种感受之因使之生畏。橛子也穿透一切肢体和支分，身体的脉和筋，以及骨头的所有缝隙。此外，还被各种感受折磨，例如：用斧头从肢体到骨头等全部砍断。说了谎言，那是最没有意义的，且超越一切佛法的阶梯。说谎是所有无意义之事的门，是所有善妙庄稼的冰雹，是所有恶趣的门，是所有非行之事的根源，不被所有众生信任，被所有圣者像不净之物一样呵责，被圆满正等觉和声闻、独觉、阿罗汉们像毒药一样彻底舍弃，是世间和出世间道路的黑暗，没有人想要它，是唯一显现的地狱，无与伦比，是黑暗，变成那些形态，是无意义的产生。谁说，以及说了什么，会像大号叫地狱的因一样产生果报，他的脚像酥油一样被火烧焦，其间也被剧烈燃烧的锯子锯开。他在身和意的一切处感受痛苦，且无意义，在那因缘相符的眷属之火中，大号叫地狱的众生被烧煮时，所有疾病都让地狱众生一样四处发出哭喊声。那些难以忍受的疾病的名字也不容易说出，正如所显示的那样，直到他造作和积累罪恶之业

They (beings) are born in the place of the Great Howling Hell and are burned. The worms that arise from the bodies driven by karma eat the intestines of the body that are burning intensely. The worms and diseases that dwell within them experience unbearable, hot, and intense feelings. Outside, they are also harmed by two kinds of suffering: the beings of hell born from fire are terrified by the agents of Yama with various causes of feeling. Pegs also pierce all limbs and parts, the veins and tendons of the body, and all the gaps in the bones. Furthermore, they are tormented by various feelings, such as being chopped from limb to bone with an axe. Speaking lies is the most meaningless thing, and it transcends all the steps of the Dharma. Lying is the door to all meaninglessness, the hail to all virtuous crops, the door to all bad destinies, the root of all non-deeds, not trusted by all beings, despised by all noble beings like impure things, completely abandoned like poison by the perfectly enlightened Buddhas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Arhats, the darkness of the worldly and transworldly paths, unwanted by anyone, the only hell that manifests, unparalleled, darkness, becoming those forms, is the arising of meaninglessness. Whoever speaks, and whatever is spoken, will produce results like the cause of the Great Howling Hell. His feet are burned like butter by fire, and in between, he is also sawn apart by a fiercely burning saw. He suffers in all parts of his body and mind, and meaninglessly, in the fire of that karmically aligned retinue, when the beings of the Great Howling Hell are being cooked, all diseases cause the hell beings to cry out everywhere in the same way. The names of those unbearable diseases are also not easy to say, as it is shown, until he has done and accumulated sinful deeds.

如果田地荒芜没有完全清理干净，那么在这期间，成千上万亿兆的众生将遭受地狱之苦。之后，这些众生将从地狱中解脱出来。即使解脱了，如果因为要经历其他次数的业力而没有转生为饿鬼或畜生，而是与人类有相同命运地转生为人，那么，像杀生、不予而取、邪淫、饮酒和说谎等行为，由于这些行为的因果关系，那个人会贫穷、短命、心神不宁，成为太监，被所有人鄙视，不会成为可以信任的对象。这里有一段偈语：有情众生如果说谎，违背了一条戒律，那么，超越世间的罪恶，没有哪个是没有意义的。不要相信任何人，不要说谎言。在轮回中受到伤害，就看不到善趣。如果沉溺于谎言，就会伤害两个世界，并且会背叛所有人，是所有佛法的荒漠。谁在断送自己，谁在说恶语，那些人刚出生，口中就会出现像斧头一样的东西。那些说谎的人，会被所有人认为是没有意义的。是所有恶道的根源，是黑暗的滋生地。不如实的人，会被所有智者抛弃。在这个世界上会像草一样，在来世会遭受恶报。英雄绝不说谎，烦恼的人说谎，口中会散发出腐烂的气味，从外表上看，身体会感到痛苦。完全抛弃了珍贵的真理，那个人就没有佛法。抛弃了佛法，就会有无尽的痛苦。是所有佛法的明灯，智者像对待珍宝一样喜欢它。通往天界的殊胜之路，远离污垢的人说那是真理。凭借真理可以到达天界，说真话可以获得解脱。不如实的人，会被像狗一样大声斥责。谁没有真理， 那个人就是最下贱的人。真理是佛法的阶梯，是显现的根源。

If the field is left uncultivated and not completely cleared, then during that time, hundreds of thousands of billions of beings will suffer the torments of hell. Afterwards, these beings will be liberated from hell. Even if liberated, if due to the karma of experiencing other times, they are not reborn as hungry ghosts or animals, but are reborn as humans with the same fate as humans, then, actions like killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, drinking alcohol, and lying, due to the causal relationship of these actions, that person will be poor, short-lived, mentally disturbed, become a eunuch, be despised by everyone, and will not become an object of trust. Here is a verse: If sentient beings lie, violating one precept, then, of the sins that transcend the world, none are meaningless. Do not trust anyone, do not tell lies. Being harmed in samsara, one will not see the happy realms. If one indulges in lies, it will harm both worlds, and will betray everyone, it is the desert of all Dharmas. Who is cutting off oneself, who is speaking evil words, those people, as soon as they are born, will have something like an axe coming out of their mouths. Those who tell lies will be regarded by everyone as meaningless. It is the root of all evil destinies, it is the breeding ground of darkness. People who are not truthful will be abandoned by all the wise. In this world they will be like grass, in the next life they will suffer evil consequences. Heroes never lie, troubled people lie, a rotten smell will emanate from their mouths, and outwardly, the body will feel pain. Completely abandoning the precious truth, that person has no Dharma. Abandoning the Dharma, there will be endless suffering. It is the lamp of all Dharmas, the wise like it as if it were a jewel. The supreme path to the heavenly realms, those who are free from defilements say it is the truth. By truth one can reach the heavenly realms, speaking the truth one can attain liberation. People who are not truthful will be loudly rebuked like dogs. Whoever has no truth, that person is the lowest among the low. Truth is the ladder of Dharma, it is the source of manifestation.
