Until the karma is exhausted, they will endure millions of years of torment. Those beings who escape from the hell realms, desiring refuge, desiring help, desiring support, will run in all directions. They will encounter other Yama's minions and be placed upside down in iron pots. As long as their sinful deeds have not been destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted, they will be roasted there upside down for millions of years. Those beings who desire refuge, desire help, desire comfort, after escaping from the torment of being boiled in the iron pots, will scatter in all directions. As long as their sinful deeds have not been destroyed and abandoned, for millions of years, those burning iron beaks will seize them and tear their limbs, vital points, and joints into hundreds or thousands of pieces. Those beings who desire refuge, desire help, desire support, after escaping from there, will also scatter in all directions. Those beings tormented by hunger and thirst will see a clear lake from afar, and they will run towards it. But it is filled with boiling corpse water, and they enter it to bathe. When they enter, the crocodiles created by karma in that area will seize them and drag them upside down. As long as their sinful deeds have not been destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted, they will be boiled in that corpse water for millions of years. Afterwards, they will escape from the crocodiles created by karma. After escaping, those beings who are suffering, desiring refuge, desiring help, desiring support, will scatter in all directions. If they are seen by the Yama's minions in front, they will be seized. After being seized, they will be pierced by burning spear tips. Some of those spear tips will come out from their backs, some will come out from their ribs, and some will come out from their throats. The sounds of those hell beings who are suffering will be heard by other hell beings from that direction, mistaken for songs. As long as their sinful deeds have been done and accumulated, not destroyed, not abandoned, and not exhausted, then for millions of years, those Yama's servants will seize them and pierce them with large arrows and burning spears. They will escape from there, and after escaping, those who seek refuge and seek protection will flee in all directions. They will see perfect towns and houses not far away, as well as perfect rivers and pools, they will run in that direction, and they will enter that town. That town is all burned and boiling, and inside it is full of Markotaka animals with sharp teeth like diamonds. When they enter that town, the door of that house will be closed, and there, those Markotaka animals with sharp and burning teeth will devour them for millions of years, as long as their sinful deeds have not been destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted. After escaping from that harm like the ocean, if they are not reborn as hungry ghosts and animals due to the karma to be experienced in other times, but are reborn as humans like people, then that person who indulges in drinking, due to the causal relationship of the evil deeds he has done, he will be confused, poor, become the laughing stock of merchants on the streets and crossroads, and all children, have an ugly face, only showing his teeth, his feet are very rough, his body is always tormented by hunger and thirst, and he will be abandoned by his sons, wives, father, mother, and relatives. If those who have taken vows drink alcohol, know that they will experience the fruition of being reborn as beings in the great Howling Hell. Then, also, if a monk who understands the principle of the maturation of karmic results observes the retinue of the Great Howling Hell, he will see what is called the Great Sound Retinue. There, he wonders, by what karma will beings be reborn? After observing, he finds that whoever kills, takes what is not given, commits adultery, and constantly indulges in drinking
