Now, by applying various methods as before, one becomes accustomed to taking life in this way. How does one increase it? It means that here, whoever, once having committed killing and become accustomed to it, practices it as before. When he commits killing, he becomes accustomed to it, and becomes more unrestrained by encountering evil friends. Therefore, he makes poisoned arrows, keeps dogs, etc., collects birds for killing, becomes violent and relies on violence, likes fighting, and possesses states such as spears, weapons, swords, large arrows, short sticks, wheels, and armor, etc. He completely accepts all other factors that lead to killing. Such a person is one who increases killing. Due to that cause, that basis, and that condition, beings are born in the realms of hell, animals, and hungry ghosts, and are manifestly harmed by unbearable harm. By small, medium, and great killing, one will experience small, medium, and great ripening results. Having done and accumulated karma, there is no not experiencing the ripening of karma. Therefore, one will experience the karma done by oneself. Therefore, if one becomes weary of samsara, one should abandon sins and practice all virtues. This is universally relying on and increasing killing. How does one universally rely on, cultivate, and increase taking what is not given? After universally relying on, cultivating, and increasing it, how will beings experience hell? Here, a person who has broken vows, whose nature is to take what is not given, due to associating with bad friends or students, will practice small, medium, and great taking what is not given. Among them, the small is taking things from others out of fear of the king's punishment, which is the same as before. The medium is stealing small objects, such as stealing from good fields. Is this not a medium act of taking what is not given? Even taking a small thing from the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha becomes very serious, because taking what is not given from the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha is more serious than anything else.

If returned in full, it becomes pure for the Buddha and the Dharma. However, stealing from the Sangha cannot be purified without experiencing the consequences, because the field is heavy. If (the stolen object) enters the mouth, one will fall into the great hell of evil destinies. If it does not enter the mouth, one will experience the darkness of Avici hell and so on in between. If one takes even a small ungiven thing, always enjoys it, and feels happy in the mind, making it a habit and increasing it, then even that small ungiven thing will cause beings to be born in hell, as animals, and as hungry ghosts. If one commits (an evil deed) but does not rejoice in it and instead regrets it, then it is not certain that one will have to experience the consequences. If someone with a habit of stealing constantly engages in stealing by various means, this is constantly relying on stealing. What is making it a habit? It is when this person feels satisfied after obtaining an ungiven object and is very happy with thieves. After obtaining these things, he uses them for eating, drinking, and wearing, feeling happy, regarding them as virtues, and strongly persuading others to steal as well, truly making them do it, making them truly take and making them do it. This is making stealing a habit. What is increasing stealing? It is when this person, after stealing, feels very happy with bedding, food, utensils, clothes, ornaments, drinks, prostitutes, and many gambling games. He feels very happy in his heart, and among all the pleasures, like this, the act of stealing is done very well. Because of this, I experience great pleasure through bedding, food, utensils, clothes, ornaments, drinks, prostitutes, and many gambling games. I should constantly enjoy these ungiven things, and they will bring me a great deal of pleasure. Combining it as before, this is increasing stealing, and it is certain that one will experience the consequences in the hells of beings.

Yes. How does one increase the practice of sexual misconduct by fully relying on and cultivating it? In this case, being overwhelmed by improper attention, other species consistent with attachment are like this: sparrows, owls, vultures, parrots, peacocks, burnt offerings, fish, and all domestic animals are born here after dying from the class of non-gods. Practicing non-celibacy with bad friends who are very attached. He clings to it with twice the improper attention, and with a mind of insatiable desire, he always practices improperly. Whatever incense approaches it, and whatever causes it to be born there, that improper conduct will not be born there because the field of the birthplace is flawed. Therefore, sexual misconduct associated with improper attention is bad. That person is particularly fond of it because of his strong desire for touch, that is, like this, sexual misconduct is relied upon again and again, and he is particularly fond of bad touch, like this, this is the complete reliance on sexual misconduct. How does one make sexual misconduct a habit? From this, sexual misconduct is relied upon again and again, and the mind truly contemplates it. Abandoning other things that please the mind, he makes this sexual misconduct itself a habit, and also makes the object of happiness a habit. How does one increase it? In this case, the ordinary person moistened by improper attention is like this: sexual misconduct is excellent, and not committing sexual misconduct is not, thus truly holding it as if it were a supreme virtue. Moreover, many other people also engage in and cause engagement in sexual misconduct, which is to increase sexual misconduct. These three forms of body are the non-virtues of ordinary people. There are four forms of speech: lying, harsh words, divisive speech, and idle talk.
