Furthermore, if one is born in this world, what will become of them? The yogi, observing karma, dharma, and vipaka, sees with wisdom born of hearing or with the divine eye: first is the taking of life. If one constantly cultivates and practices the taking of life, and increases it, it will cause beings to be born in the realms of hell, animals, and hungry ghosts. If one shares the same fate as humans and is born among them, then one will have a short life. If one kills living beings because of attachment to hunters and the like, then the karma of killing will deteriorate, and one will become deer, pigs, scorched animals, domestic fowl, scorched birds, fish, etc., and be killed by nets or traps. In samsara, if the cause of such karma is related to humans and one is born among them, then one will have a short life, and will not be born in the land of the wise, but will be quickly killed in a land of many weapons and battles. There are verses on the small, medium, and large degrees of taking life: some die in the womb, some in the house of birth, some just crawling, and others die while running. Thus, taking life is karma dominated by the ripening of the present life. Furthermore, if one constantly cultivates and practices taking what is not given, and increases it, its vipaka has three aspects: experiencing the suffering of hell, and what is the fruit that is in harmony with this life? The yogi, observing karma, dharma, and vipaka, sees with wisdom born of hearing: thus, if one constantly cultivates and practices taking what is not given, and increases it, it will cause beings to be born in the realms of hell, animals, and hungry ghosts. If one shares the same fate as humans and is born among them, then one will become poor, and whatever enjoyments one has acquired will be consumed by the king's punishment, water, fire, weapons, and the fear of thieves, and one will never be happy. So, what are the three kinds of results that arise from constantly relying on and cultivating, and increasing, them? The yogi, through the wisdom or divine eye gained from listening, observes the actions, dharma, and ripening results. If one constantly relies on and cultivates sexual misconduct, and increases it, one will be born in the realms of sentient beings in hell, animals, and hungry ghosts. If one is born as a human, due to the result corresponding to the cause, his wife will become disrespectful, he will become a hermaphrodite, and he will be despised by the world. These are the three kinds of ripening results of the three kinds of transgressions of the body. Other non-Buddhist practitioners, that is, those who wander everywhere, regarding the transgressions of the body, from unpleasantness to the ripening of karma, it is not like that. Why? Because others who are accompanied by ignorance and possess a mind of cultivation will not see what my actions, dharma, and ripening results are. Only my Shravakas and my Yogacharyas can see. Furthermore, what are the transgressions of speech and language like? How many kinds are there? The yogi, observing the dharma in the dharma, through the wisdom gained from listening, can see the four kinds of transgressions of speech, namely: lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, and idle chatter. Among them, if one constantly relies on and cultivates lying, and increases it, one will be born in the birthplaces of sentient beings in hell, animals, and hungry ghosts. If one has the same fate as humans and is born as a human, then all sentient beings will not believe his words, even the attendants of the king's palace, the retinue of the householder, the retinue of the royal family, and even his own son and wife will not believe his words. A foul odor will emanate from his mouth, his teeth, mouth, complexion, and skin will become ugly. All worldly people will manifest due to the manifestation of evil, and he will always be afraid. His friends, relatives, and beloved ones will not associate with him. Everything he undertakes will become fruitless, and all meaningless things will happen. This is the result of the karma of lying, which is unpleasant and ugly.
