Knowing the truth of suffering, he contemplates the situation of the great black rope hell. He wonders, what other situations are there in the black rope hell? So, through the knowledge gained from hearing, he investigates and sees a hell called "Constant Gathering," where beings suffer unbearable burning pain. He wonders, what kind of beings will be born in that hell? So, through the knowledge gained from hearing, he investigates and finds that those who are deluded by the arguments and metaphors of heretical treatises, abandon discipline, completely fall into cliffs and precipices, and are controlled by all wrong views, after death, will fall into evil destinies and be reborn in the hell called "Gathering of Feelings." There, these harms will occur: for example, that person will be tightly bound by burning ropes, then pulled up many yojanas, and then thrown into cliffs and precipices. After being born, they will also be thrown into places full of razors and swords. When their limbs and bones cry out, they are deceived by their own minds, enter the wheel of samsara and wander around. They are blinded by the darkness of ignorance, their bodies are like forests burned by flames, and they are eaten by dogs with extremely sharp teeth. However, for those who are there, there is no savior, friend, bringer of comfort, or anyone who can give them a breath. The Yama people of the Yama world will appropriately say in verses: Deluded by the ignorance of wrong views, you who are tightly bound by the rope of ignorance! You have obtained the harm of hell beings, which is an extremely unbearable gathering. Lowly person! Wrong views have burned all virtues, therefore you are connected to hell and come with unbearable harm. Those who are controlled by wrong views and completely deceived by their minds, those foolish people, will all go to hell. Other enemies are easy to abandon, but the enemy of the mind is difficult to abandon. Those who are bound by it will be taken to the abode of Yama. They always rush to worldly pleasures, but do not rush to the sacred Dharma. Those who are confused about the path of the sacred Dharma will be taken to the great hell. Taming

之中内心难调伏，火中火最胜，难调速疾行，地狱之中乃地狱。 凡是心之所驭者，彼人众生地狱行。 凡是不悦能制止，彼等痛苦不相随。 贪欲不悦乃一火，愚痴名为黑暗也。 嗔恨不悦乃是敌，众生为三敌所驭。 往昔随逐于心者，汝所作诸不善业，享受愚昧之果报，汝未曾作诸善事。 为自心所彻底欺骗，以劫夺他人之财物，以及耽着他人之妻室，众生乃被恒常系缚。 以彼业之异熟果，汝于今日成自在。 人之劣者自所为，既作恶业何须哭？ 何人若作诸罪业，事后心中生后悔。 犹如盐中播撒种子，于彼无有彼之果。 欲望甜蜜含藏少，异熟成熟乃是苦。 何人若耽着于愚昧，彼则趋入黑暗之暗。 为了儿子与妻子之安乐，以愚昧所作诸恶业，众生独自于地狱焚烧，为自业之果报所欺骗。 凡为子嗣妻妾所驭者，人则耽着于恶行，彼则趋往于此地狱，汝将感受彼之果报。 不欲儿子与妻子之义利，亲友之义利又岂有？ 死亡之时若已至，无有亲近与守护者。 凡是具有一切烦恼心，凡是被贪爱所彻底欺骗，彼等如是成为朋友，为何汝不被焚烧？ 往昔曾为国土之主宰，为诸贪爱所彻底欺骗，以自身所作之恶业，自身为何而哭泣？ 如是众生于地狱感受聚集之时，阎罗卒对于地狱众生如是教示，如是彼等所作所积之罪业，未摧毁未舍弃未穷尽之前，猛烈难忍之诸多损害，将于数百万年中感受。 彼后从彼解脱与脱离，若与人等具有相同福分，将以其他次数感受之业。

Within, the mind is difficult to tame. Among fires, fire is supreme. That which is difficult to tame and swiftly goes, is hell within hell. Those who are under the control of the mind, those beings go to hell. Those who can avert the unpleasant, those will not follow suffering. Unpleasant desire is one fire. Ignorance is called darkness. Unpleasant hatred is an enemy, beings are under the control of the three enemies. Having followed the mind of the past, whatever non-virtue you have done, experience the fruit of that delusion. You have not done any good deeds. Completely deceived by your own mind, by stealing the wealth of others, and by indulging in the wives of others, beings are always bound. By the ripening of that karma, you are now in control today. The worst of people, by their own actions, having done evil deeds, why weep? Whoever commits sins, afterwards, regret arises in the mind. Like sowing seeds in salt, there is no fruit for that. Desire has little sweetness, the ripening is hot. Whoever indulges in ignorance, that one goes into the darkness of darkness. For the sake of the happiness of sons and wives, whatever evil is done through ignorance, beings burn alone in hell, deceived by the fruit of their own karma. Whoever is controlled by sons and wives, that person indulges in evil deeds. That one goes to this hell, you will experience its fruit. Not desiring the benefit of sons and wives, how can there be the benefit of friends? When the time of death comes, there is no one to be near and protect. Those who have minds full of all afflictions, those who are completely deceived by craving, those become friends in that way, why are you not burned? In the past, having been the master of the land, completely deceived by cravings, by the evil deeds done by oneself, why does oneself weep? Thus, when sentient beings gather to experience hell, the messengers of Yama teach the sentient beings in hell in this way. As long as the sinful deeds they have done and accumulated have not been destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted, many intense and unbearable harms will be experienced for hundreds of millions of years. Afterwards, having been liberated and freed from that, if they have the same fortune as humans, they will experience the karma of other times.
