Liberated from fear, possessing meditation and being cautious, it is not long before entering Nirvana. Knowing impermanence, emptiness, selflessness, and the way of acting, knowing the way of increasing meditation, it is not long before entering Nirvana. Furthermore, if a monk enters the sixth ground from the fifth ground, how does he enter? The yogi dwells contemplating the Dharma in the inner Dharma, with the wisdom arising from hearing, or observing with the divine eye, then this monk is particularly fond of the fourth situation. How do similar results arise from similar causes of these dharmas, dissimilar results arise from dissimilar causes, non-similar results arise from non-similar causes, and semi-similar results arise from semi-similar causes? How do similar results arise from similar causes? For example, from grains and what becomes the cause of grains, grains themselves arise, similarly, from the inner similar virtuous actions, similar results arise, that is, expecting gods and humans, this is the first situation. Dissimilar results arise from dissimilar causes, for example, sour yogurt arises from milk, similarly, in this inner world, universal afflictions, sounds, touch, taste, form, and smell, creating disgusting desires, just like producing sour yogurt, the unpleasant, displeasing, and unsuitable fruition ripens, that is, expecting sentient hell beings, hungry ghosts, and animals, this is the second situation. Dissimilar results arise from dissimilar causes, for example, if blue dye is mixed with indigo, it becomes a unique different color, similarly, in the inner Dharma, karma and the karma of fruition ripening, and dissimilar results arise, the dissimilarity of karma and result is like, for example, offering alms with wrong views, killing livestock for the sake of desiring heaven, these people fall into sentient hell, this is the third situation. Semi-similar results arise from semi-similar causes, for example, from fine white silk threads, thick white cloth is made, the fine and thick are not exactly the same, similarly, semi-similar results arise from semi-similar causes, that is, accumulating small non-virtuous actions, creating great sentient hells, this is...

It is the fourth case. The monk, seeing that karma and its result come and go, and thinking about the four cases of karma and its result going into existence like a wheel, is as follows: For sentient beings, not obtaining the karma that harms is the first case. Obtaining the karma that harms beings is the second case. Obtaining and not obtaining the karma that harms is the third case. Neither obtaining the karma that harms, nor not obtaining the karma that harms, is the fourth case. For sentient beings, not obtaining the karma that harms exists. For example, worldly people harm others without having obtained the cause beforehand. For those who have transcended the world, the eye consciousness not obtaining the ocean of karma, and desire and suffering harming others, is the first case. Obtaining the karma that harms beings is, for example, when worldly people encounter fire or swords, they say, "It will burn" or "It will cut." For those who have transcended the world, if they obtain non-virtuous karma, they will harm beings in hell, animals, and hungry ghosts, which is the second case. Obtaining and not obtaining the karma that harms is, for example, worldly people giving the power of mantras and poison, whether obtained or not. For those who have transcended the world, at the time of death, obtaining the image of the signs of hell beings is the third case. Neither obtaining the karma that harms, nor not obtaining the karma that harms is, for example, worldly people planting the seeds of medicine, which will grow, neither obtained nor not obtained. For those who have transcended the world, for example, even if an Arhat monk has karma that must be experienced as great as Mount Meru, the Arhat will pass into nirvana, and those karmas that the Arhat possesses are neither obtained nor will they cause harm, and liberation is the fourth case. Karma that will be experienced in this life, but not in the next life, is the first case. Karma that will be experienced in the next life, but will be experienced in this life
