practices. He is not one who gazes at women. If he has abandoned himself and is attached to sinful dharmas, he destroys the Sangha Jewel. How does he know he is a bhikshu? Whoever craves gain and respect, and whoever feels sorrow for objects, gazes at women and desires them, is neither virtuous, nor a monk, nor upright. Just as fire burns a garden, whoever burns the garden of afflictions is a Brahmin, he is virtuous, and does not cling to sinful food. Always delighting in going to villages, the deceitful one always diligently bathes, the fool deceives himself and others, and is very ignorant on the path of the true Dharma. The mind is peaceful and in a solitary place, always meditating to the other shore. He is a Brahmin, he is virtuous, and is the realm of practice of the virtuous path. He rejoices in solitary places, and the one who is free from desire rejoices there. The mind that seeks desire does not rejoice there. Whoever delights in beneficial speech and is exceedingly delighted by the craving for objects, where there is no death, does not go to the city of peace. Attending to kings, craving extremely delicious food and drink, always angry, the nominal bhikshu, with deceitful means, whoever dwells at the gate of kings, closely associating with householders, and then denigrating them, deceiving the true heart of the benefactor. Just as an elephant dwells in a garden, whoever has completely abandoned sons and daughters and dwells in a peaceful garden, they have abandoned craving and have equal minds. The bhikshu, having abandoned those faults, sees them as they are, and apart from that, sees the skandhas such as form as they are. He strives and practices to attain liberation, and completely inquires of the guru. Knowing the reality of the path and the non-path, seeking the city of liberation with the Noble Eightfold Path is the aspect of diligence on the path, with equanimity and an immaculate mind, and with a peaceful mind, he always relies on and cultivates that path, increasing it. He, with the virtue of the path of action free from outflows, and with perfect completeness, diminishes the power of Mara and increases the power of the Holy Dharma, as the yakshas of the earth knew. They declared it to the yakshas who travel in the sky. They also declared it to the Four Great Kings. They also declared it to the old

Starting from the Fourth Dhyana, connect as before. The gods of Atapa and Tushita openly proclaimed until Maitreya resided in Tushita. Then, a Bodhisattva was extremely delighted and openly proclaimed to the gods of Paranirmitavasavartin: In Jambudvipa, a certain noble son has shaved his hair and beard and donned the saffron robe, connecting as before. Then, until the gods of Paranirmitavasavartin were extremely delighted in their hearts, connect as before. Then, that monk wondered, how should I enter the fifth dhyana? So, that yogi, dwelling in the inner dharma, following the dharma, contemplated the ten material ayatanas with the wisdom born of hearing or with the divine eye. What are the ten? They are: the eye-ayatana, the form-ayatana, the ear-ayatana, the sound-ayatana, the nose-ayatana, the smell-ayatana, the tongue-ayatana, the taste-ayatana, the body-ayatana, and the touch-ayatana. He contemplates these ten material ayatanas. My eye-ayatana also relies, the form-ayatana also relies, how does it transform into feeling? Relying on the eye and also relying on the form, eye-consciousness arises, seeing that the union of the three produces contact, and with contact, feeling, perception, and thought also arise. Among them, feeling is experience. Thought is thinking. Among them, perception is recognition, that is: this form is long, this form is short, this form is beautiful, this form is ugly, this form is visible, this form is obstructive, this form is invisible, this form is unobstructed. Thus, until non-manifestation, these eleven forms are distinguished as the form of perception, thus, the union of the three produces contact. Feeling, perception, and thought arise with contact. Among them, the feeling, perception,
