, and see it as selfless. After that, by analyzing the noble truths, the mind becomes extremely detached from samsara. It becomes weary, displeased, and condemns samsara. Through those ways, seeing samsara as unbearable and extremely terrifying. Therefore, he thinks like this: Alas, how far these beings are from the view of the gods, and without eyes! Even though they are born again and again in the hells that are extremely unbearable, extremely hot, and extremely terrifying, they do not feel weary. These individual ordinary people have been bound by the ropes of craving since beginningless time! Then, the yogi dwells on the inner dharma, following the dharma, in this way, the monk continuously rejoices, that is more unbearable than the unbearable, all the ripening of the fruits of karma from the reviving hells, etc., up to the uninterrupted hells, enters the thirteenth other land. Not delighting in the realm of Mara, not falling under the control of Mara, completely cutting off all the bonds of Mara, and not dwelling in the realm of Mara, because that constantly diligent monk, having cut off all latent tendencies, enters the city of Nirvana. The earth-bound yakshas, seeing his joy, told the yakshas who travel in the sky, like this, from such and such a lineage, that son of a lineage, from such and such a village, such and such a town, such and such a place, having shaved his hair and beard, having put on the ochre robes, having gone forth from home to homelessness with faith, striving and diligently, with a unique view different from other right paths, having understood the ripening of the fruits of the dharma of karma that transcends the world, enters the eleventh other land, and knows the initial and final suffering of those who have fallen into hell. Thus, the earth-bound yakshas told the yakshas who travel in the sky. They also told the Four Great Kings as before. They also told the Thirty-three Gods. They also told the No-Strife Gods. The No-Strife Gods also told the Tushita Gods.

The Kadampa also related to the Paranirmitavasavartin gods, and the Paranirmitavasavartin gods related to the other Paranirmitavasavartin gods. In this way, successively, as before, they related to the gods of the Abhasvara, saying: "O gods, listen with your minds in perfect equanimity! In this Jambudvipa, from a certain lineage, a son of a certain lineage, a person from a certain place, having shaved his hair and beard, and wearing saffron robes, has gone forth from home to homelessness with faith. He strives and exerts himself, without diminishing his joy, not desiring the objects of the realm of Mara, and not being exceedingly attached together with the craving born from the abundance of loving desire, not being attached to the repulsive forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile objects. He has entered the thirteenth ground. The Bhikshu, knowing the ripening of the karmic dharma of all eight hot hells of sentient beings, knowing all the suffering of the darkness of ignorance of Samsara, having arisen with disgust as it is, the objects of the side of Mara are diminished, and the side of the Holy Dharma is manifestly exalted." Having heard that, the gods of the Abhasvara were exceedingly joyful and sat down, thinking: "Thus, the side of Mara is diminished, and the side of the Holy Dharma is manifestly exalted." Thus, if the gods listen to the Holy Dharma with joyful minds, then what need is there to mention that the Holy Dharma, in harmony with those holy beings who have faith, follow faith, and see the truth, will increase and expand, and their minds will be joyful? Then again, the Bhikshu who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma, the harm of the hells of sentient beings, like the water of the ocean, agitated like a ravine of all-consuming craving, from the great hot hells of sentient beings, such as Samjiva and so on, up to Avici, the terrifying perfectors under the vast inner earth, and the wanderers, the Kokalika, and the Devadatta, are seized like fish and great crocodiles, and the remnants of the hell beings, fish eaters, great fish eaters, crocodile Nagas, crocodile Kumbhiras, child-killing crocodiles, turtles, and otters fighting, like the force of the wind of desire, hatred, and ignorance.
