In the center of the altar, a fire is lit, held in the hand and rotated, and the smell is inhaled. One slanders the friend's wife without any fault, and after slandering, one feels very happy, truly happy. If one always enjoys this pleasing non-virtuous act, then after death, one will fall into a bad rebirth and be born in the hell of sentient beings, the extremely hot Avīci hell. After being born there, all the harms of the surrounding environment of the hells of sentient beings, such as the Saṃjīva hell, are gathered together. On top of all these harms, there will be special harms, that is, starting from the darkness so dense that it fills the sky, the clubs and extremely sharp swords made by karma are all burning fiercely, and the sentient beings of the hell of sentient beings will sink into them. After sinking into them, they will be burned, and all limbs and small limbs will be completely charred, cut, burned, and boiled, and all limbs and small limbs will be separated from each other. Outside, they are also burned by the suffering of fire, and inside, they are tormented by the suffering of being cut by clubs and swords, experiencing extremely unbearable, hot, rough, and unique suffering. Obscured by suffering, he flees everywhere and sees in the huge cliffs a river called the extremely hot Avīci hell, which is filled with venomous snakes born from karma. There, tormented by suffering, he will have illusions, and those who create disharmony will completely separate him, and then he will be devoured by venomous snakes. Bitten by the sharp fangs of the venomous snakes, he will be weakened by extreme suffering. There, as long as his sinful deeds have not been destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted, he will cry out, wail, and utter lamentations completely. After that, after a long time, after countless years, he will be liberated from it, and even if he is liberated, if he is not reborn as a preta or an animal, then the hole of the yoke...

犹如海龟颈入轭木孔般，人们与（获得人身的）善缘相遇而转生为人的话，以与那业相应的因所产生的果报，会使那人贫穷且身患疾病，完全发出哀号之声，被他人役使，且诸根不全。人的面貌形体不像野马，而是出生在茂密如雪山般的地方，在那里仅仅依靠果实的根茎为食物而生存，他们不会知道任何由其他事物所生的食物。之后，比丘，通晓业之果报成熟者， 观察极热大地狱之境，他以听闻而生的智慧，见到名为恒常黑暗有情地狱。他思忖着，在其中，哪些有情会转生于此呢？他观察到，凡是杀生、不予而取、欲邪行、饮酒、妄语、以及奉行和修习邪见并使其增长者，都会转生于此。那些已脱离外道贪欲之人，后来显现上舍弃贪欲，但又被脱离贪欲、嗔恨、愚痴之人被妇女诱惑，再次沉溺于欲望之中，那人身亡之后，堕入恶趣，会转生到名为恒常黑暗有情地狱之中。在那里出生之后，所有集中了有情地狱复活等剧烈痛苦之上，特别会发生这样的事情：例如，名为掘地虫的虫子，像在头皮上钻孔一样，用它们像金刚一样锋利的嘴，在那有情地狱众生的罪业所致而生，那些虫子会带来极大的不适，是极其痛苦的。那些掘地虫会从骨头的孔洞一直吃到脚，所有有情地狱众生的痛苦集合起来，也无法忍受那样的百分之一、千分之一、甚至百万分之一，他们无法从中解脱。无论逃到哪里，那些虫子都不会放过他们，他们就这样被焚烧、被煮沸数百万年。有情地狱众生的痛苦是极其难以忍受的。

If, like a turtle inserting its neck into a yoke hole, people meet with the good fortune (of obtaining a human body) and are born as humans, then with the fruit produced by the cause corresponding to that karma, that person will be poor and afflicted with disease, will utter cries of lamentation, be employed by others, and have incomplete faculties. The appearance of the person is not like a wild horse, but is born in a place as dense as a snow mountain, where they live only on the roots of fruits, and they will not know any food that is born from other things. Then, O monk, one who knows the ripening of the fruits of karma, contemplates the realm of the great hell of extreme heat. With the wisdom arising from hearing, he sees a sentient hell called 'Always Dark'. Thinking, 'Which sentient beings will be born there?', he observes that those who kill, take what is not given, engage in sexual misconduct, drink alcohol, speak falsely, and cultivate and practice wrong views, making them abundant, will be reborn there. Those who have abandoned the desire of outsiders, later manifestly abandon desire, but are again seduced by women, those who are free from desire, hatred, and delusion, and again indulge in desires, that person, after death, falls into a bad rebirth and will be reborn in a sentient hell called 'Always Dark'. After being born there, on top of all the intense sufferings of the sentient hells such as revival, a special event will occur: for example, worms called earth-digging worms, like drilling holes in the scalp, with their mouths as sharp as vajras, will be born from the karma of that sentient hell being's misdeeds, and those worms will cause great discomfort and are extremely painful. Those earth-digging worms eat the bones from the holes all the way to the feet, and all the collected sufferings of the sentient hell beings cannot endure even one hundredth, one thousandth, or even one millionth of that, and they cannot be liberated from it. Wherever they flee, the worms will not let them go, and they will be burned and boiled in that way for millions of years. The suffering of the sentient hell beings is extremely unbearable.

The wretched beings are burned and cooked for a long time in that hell, but due to the power of the karma they have done and accumulated, and the power formed by the beings in hell, the time of death does not come. As long as their sinful deeds have not been destroyed, abandoned, and exhausted, they will be cooked. If they are not born as pretas or animals, but are born as humans with the same fate as people, like a turtle's head entering the hole of a yoke, then due to the result corresponding to that karma, they will be ugly in appearance, with crippled limbs, become male servants of merchants, or become female servants carrying water jugs. Then, the bhikshu, knowing the ripening of the fruits of karma, observes the surroundings of the great hot hell, and with the wisdom arising from hearing, he sees the hell called "the stream of suffering for beings." He wonders, what kind of beings will be born there? He observes that those who kill, take what is not given, engage in sexual misconduct, drink alcohol, lie, and adhere to wrong views, and constantly cultivate and increase these evil deeds, will be born there. A bhikshu who is virtuous and does not deviate from the path of Dharma goes to a place without vigilance, and a married woman says to him, "Please do whatever you like to me! If you, bhikshu, do not associate with me, I will say, 'This bhikshu desires me, but I did not agree.'" In this way, you will be severely punished, either by the king's people or by my family. If you do, I will give you a lot of food and drink, and we will be very happy, and others will not notice." She will also say to worldly people, "This bhikshu is very virtuous, please offer him beds, medicine, and many necessities of life, and he will become a donor and patron." In this way, she threatens and lures with fear, causing the bhikshu to fall from the correct path. After that woman dies, she falls into the evil realms and is born in the hell called "the stream of suffering for beings."
