于是睾丸和阴茎一起被割断，感受三倍的痛苦。那么，它的因是什么？缘是什么？基础是什么呢？对此，因是这个，缘是这个，基础是这个，就像这样：杀生、不予而取、欲邪行成为因、缘和基础，因为这个因，感受三倍的痛苦。就像这样：在铁匠的地方，铁匠或者铁匠的徒弟拿起风箱，用气息充满，怎样用气息吹动，就怎样烧灼完成罪恶行为的终结。罪恶的铁匠是“业与结果”的常用语。铁匠的徒弟罪恶的行为是“业的近取”的常用语。风被称为“业的风”的常用语。风箱被称为“邪见”的常用语。燃烧的煤炭被称为“地狱众生”的常用语。怎样吹风箱就怎样烧灼，这是说地狱的众生也怎样造作极不善业，就怎样感受极难忍受的痛苦，这是因，这是缘。刀剑的损害，以什么导致它变得极难忍受的三倍呢？杀生、不予而取、欲邪行，如果经常串习、修习，并且多做，要知道这是它们的果报。当地狱众生因恐惧而眼瞎，发出各种声音，被非圣法所煎熬时，（狱卒）问道：喂，朋友们，你们有什么痛苦？那些被痛苦折磨得显而易见的人对阎罗卒说：我们没有痛苦，只是我们口渴难耐。那些阎罗卒听到后，用名为“恐怖波浪”的，用铜和铅混合物剧烈煮沸的波浪伤害他们的两岸，听到水波的声音，感到恐惧。

Then the testicles and penis are cut off together, experiencing three times the suffering. What is its cause? What is its condition? What is its basis? To this, the cause is this, the condition is this, the basis is this, like this: killing, taking what is not given, and sexual misconduct become the cause, condition, and basis, and because of this cause, one experiences three times the suffering. Like this: in the place of a blacksmith, the blacksmith or the blacksmith's apprentice takes the bellows, fills it with breath, and however he blows with breath, he burns in the same way, completing the end of the sinful act. The sinful blacksmith is a common expression for "action and result." The blacksmith's apprentice's sinful act is a common expression for "the proximate cause of action." The wind is a common expression for "the wind of action." The bellows is a common expression for "wrong view." The burning coals are a common expression for "hell beings." Just as blowing the bellows burns, it means that hell beings also experience extremely unbearable suffering in the same way that they have committed extremely unwholesome actions. That is the cause, that is the condition. By what does the harm of swords become three times more unbearable? Killing, taking what is not given, and sexual misconduct, if constantly practiced, cultivated, and done frequently, one should know that these are their fruits. When those hell beings, blinded by fear, utter various sounds and are tormented by non-holy Dharma, (the prison guards) ask: Hey, friends, what is harming you? Those who are obviously exhausted by suffering say to the Yama's messengers: We have no suffering, but we are thirsty. When those Yama's messengers hear this, they harm both banks with waves called "waves of terror," waves of copper and lead mixed together and boiled violently, hearing the sound of the water waves, they are terrified.

Then, they mixed copper and lead, boiled them in an iron pot, poured them in, brought them, and said, 'Friends, drink!' Thinking that it was because of unbearable thirst, they took it with both hands. Obscured by karma and tormented by thirst, they drank it, and their lips and tongues were scorched. From their throats and esophagi down to their lower bodies, they experienced fourfold suffering. They wondered, 'What is the karmic result of this fourfold burning?' It is the result of taking life, taking what is not given, engaging in sexual misconduct, and drinking alcohol. This is the result of drinking after taking vows, and pouring alcohol for nuns who have taken vows after leaving their homes. Therefore, hell beings think that this is extremely boiling red copper and want to drink it. Similarly, a monk thinks that drinking alcohol is appropriate because he has precepts, but alcohol is like the poison halahala. The foolish monk could not pour it on the ground of the donors and patrons, and drank it out of fear of the Sangha. This is the result. Hell beings cannot pour the molten copper on the ground; that is the result of karma. The Thirteenth Volume of the 'Holy Dharma Mindfulness Sutra.' Then, Yama's messengers asked those hell beings, 'Friends, what afflicts you?' The hell beings said, 'Only hunger afflicts us greatly, and this suffering overwhelms all my sufferings. Then, those hell beings, whose minds were completely deluded by karma, thought that these iron balls were edible, so they picked them up and ate them.
