而且如果具备四法，心之行为就不会从一种变为多种。四者为何？断除声闻之心，断除缘觉之心，修法不觉疲厌，以及凡所闻法皆为他人宣说。菩萨如果具备四法，就能很好地修持珍宝之法。四者为何？因大乘法稀有，故生起视如珍宝之想；因大乘法能除一切心之疾病，故视如良药；因大乘法永不失坏，故视如财物之库藏；因大乘法能令人解脱，故视其为断除痛苦之法。菩萨如果具备四法，就会从戒律毁坏和烦恼的过失中解脱。四者为何？因诸法无来处，故获得对法不生的忍耐；因诸法无去处，故获得对法不灭的忍耐；因知诸法由因缘而生，故获得对法缘起之忍耐；因无有各别之心续，故获得不住之忍耐。菩萨如果具备四法，就能断除诸烦恼。四者为何？如实安住正念，调伏诸根，能够增长善法之力，以及信乐寂静处并远离喧嚣。菩萨如果具备四法，就能与大众和合相处。四者为何？即使自己修法，也不追求获得特殊待遇；不懈怠，恒常生起恭敬之心；只寻求佛法的利益，而不炫耀自己；即使为他人宣说善法，也不追求利养、恭敬和名声。菩萨如果具备四法，就能很好地开启法布施之门。四者为何？完全守护和弘扬正法，利益自己的智慧并为他人宣说

Moreover, if one possesses four qualities, the conduct of the mind will not change from one form to many forms. What are the four? Abandoning the mind of a Hearer, abandoning the mind of a Solitary Realizer, not feeling weary of practicing the Dharma, and teaching others whatever Dharma one has heard. If a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they will be able to cultivate the precious Dharma well. What are the four? Because the Great Vehicle Dharma is rare, generating the perception that it is like a jewel; because the Great Vehicle Dharma cures all diseases of the mind, viewing it as medicine; because the Great Vehicle Dharma is never lost, viewing it as a treasury of wealth; and because the Great Vehicle Dharma leads to liberation, viewing it as the cessation of suffering. If a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they will be freed from the faults of broken vows and afflictions. What are the four? Because all phenomena have no coming, obtaining the patience of non-arising in phenomena; because all phenomena have no going, obtaining the patience of non-cessation in phenomena; because one knows that all phenomena arise from causes and conditions, obtaining the patience of dependent origination in phenomena; and because there is no separate mind-stream, obtaining the patience of non-abiding. If a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they will be able to eliminate all afflictions. What are the four? Establishing mindfulness correctly, restraining the senses, being able to increase the power of virtuous Dharma, and having faith in solitary places and abandoning busyness. If a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they will be able to live in harmony with the multitude. What are the four? Even when practicing Dharma oneself, not striving to obtain special treatment; without laziness, constantly generating respect and reverence; seeking only the benefit of the Dharma, and not boasting about oneself; even when teaching virtuous Dharma to others, not seeking gain, respect, and fame. If a Bodhisattva possesses four qualities, they will be able to open the door of Dharma giving well. What are the four? Completely protecting and upholding the sacred Dharma, benefiting one's own wisdom and teaching it to others.

, and constantly practicing virtuous Dharma, purity, and not contemplating pure and impure Dharma, these are four. If a Bodhisattva also possesses four qualities, then by the power of past karma, the roots of virtue will not be lost. What are the four? Not taking advantage of others' faults, constantly cultivating loving-kindness towards those who are hateful, constantly explaining all Dharmas as interdependent origination, and constantly remembering unsurpassed Bodhi, these are four. If a Bodhisattva also possesses four qualities, then without relying on the teachings of others, they will naturally practice the six perfections. What are the four? Constantly giving Dharma to others, not speaking of others' faults, skillfully guiding sentient beings by Dharma, and understanding profound Dharma, these are four. If a Bodhisattva also possesses four qualities, then they will abandon meditation and Samadhi and be manifestly born in the desire realm. What are the four? Treating others with a gentle heart, obtaining the power of virtuous roots, not abandoning all sentient beings, and constantly being able to cultivate the power of wisdom and skillful means, these are four. If a Bodhisattva also possesses four qualities, then they will not regress from the Buddha Dharma. What are the four? Even though experiencing countless cycles of birth and death, not generating a mind of weariness, constantly making offerings to immeasurable Buddhas, cultivating immeasurable loving-kindness, and generating faith in the immeasurable wisdom of the Buddhas, these are four. Son of lineage, if a Bodhisattva also possesses four qualities, then the Buddha's nature will never be interrupted. What are the four? Not abandoning the aspiration for all sentient beings, generating faith in the practice of generosity, desiring great diligence, and constantly practicing the Buddha Dharma with a profound mind, these are four. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva travels in the three realms, practicing the categories of the four types of conduct, benefiting and bringing happiness to sentient beings, and cultivating liberation from the world, then the Buddha's nature will never be interrupted.
