The Sutra of Great Vehicle named 'The Great Liberation Expanding in All Directions, the Arrangement of Accomplishing Buddhahood by Purifying Sins with Repentance'. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard: At one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in the great city of Rajagriha, together with a great Sangha of eighty thousand Bhikshus and a Sangha of thirty-six thousand Bodhisattvas. All of them were bound by one lifetime, completely free from all obscurations, endowed with the power of splendor and glory, urging the Thus-Gone One to reveal the secret meaning through skillful means, making the Buddha-fields completely pure, spontaneously accomplishing the deeds of the Buddhas, adorned by the blessings of the Buddhas, holding the Great Vehicle Sutra as a means to protect and safeguard the treasury of the Dharma, proclaiming the great sound of Dharma like a lion's roar in the ten directions. The level of their qualities was like Mount Meru, and their wisdom, profound and vast, was like the ocean. They had subdued the armies of Mara and his hosts, gathering all the heretics and establishing them in purity of mind. Endowed with might and power, they were unimpeded in liberation, dwelling happily in equanimity, constantly maintaining mindfulness and Samadhi, devoted to the teachings and endowed with intelligence. With the four means of gathering, the six perfections, and immeasurable skillful means, there was nothing that did not accord with the meaning of all Dharmas. Having accumulated roots of virtue for a long time, attaining the dominion of the Buddha. Endowed with wisdom, the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, and the eighteen unshared qualities. 近事男和近事女们，以及天、龙、药叉、人和非人等等，还有梵天和帝释天等无数不可思议的天众一同安住在虚空中，降下天界的珍宝花雨，奏响无数不可思议的乐器，发出美妙的声音。梵天诸神用香气扑鼻的桑巴拉香焚香，以此供养如来，供养的云团遍布十方世界无数的国土。对十方一切诸佛、十方一切佛法、十方一切菩萨僧众普遍供养祈请。如此诸天供养是为了寻求无上大乘之道。此后，在彼时彼刻，世尊被无数不可思议的眷属围绕，一同前往巨大的娑罗树林，在春季中旬的十五日即将涅槃之际，如来以加持力，以大慈悲心摄受救护一切众生，发出洪亮的声音，此声音遍布十方，以各自的语言向一切众生宣说：如今如来、阿罗汉、正等觉者，心怀慈悲关爱众生！心怀守护救助众生！心怀摄受安顿众生！以平等之心看待众生，如同看待唯一的孩子一般，无依者当为作依怙！未见佛性者当令见佛性！未离烦恼者当令离烦恼！无安乐者当令得安乐！未解脱者当令得解脱！无受用者当令具受用！ 未离疑惑者当令离疑惑！未忏悔罪业者当令忏悔清净！未脱离忧悲者当令脱离忧悲！如是宣说。彼时彼刻，道路左右的地面平坦，是美好的平原，完全清净，吉祥的水流宽度相同，绵延一万由旬。

The male lay devotees and female lay devotees, as well as gods, nagas, yakshas, humans and non-humans, and Brahma and Indra, etc., countless and immeasurable deities together dwelled in the sky. They rained down showers of precious heavenly flowers and played countless and immeasurable musical instruments, producing beautiful sounds. The Brahma gods burned fragrant Sambhara incense, offering it to the Tathagata. The clouds of offerings pervaded all the countless realms of the ten directions. They universally offered and prayed to all the Buddhas of the ten directions, all the Dharma of the ten directions, and all the Bodhisattva Sanghas of the ten directions. Thus, the gods made offerings in order to seek the unsurpassed Great Vehicle path. Then, at that time, at that moment, the Bhagavan, surrounded by countless and immeasurable retinues, together went to the great Sala tree grove. On the fifteenth day of the middle spring month, on the verge of passing into nirvana, the Tathagata, through the power of his blessings, with great compassion, gathered and protected all sentient beings. He uttered a great voice, and that sound pervaded all ten directions, speaking to all sentient beings in their respective languages: "Now, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, cherishes compassion and love for sentient beings! He cherishes protecting and saving sentient beings! He cherishes gathering and settling sentient beings! He looks upon sentient beings with equanimity, like looking upon an only child. He will be a refuge for the refuge-less! Those who have not seen the Buddha-nature will be made to see it! Those who have not separated from afflictions will be made to separate from them! Those who have no happiness will be made happy! Those who are not liberated will be made liberated! Those who have no enjoyment will be made to have enjoyment! Those who have not separated from doubt will be made to separate from doubt! Those who have not purified their regrets will be made to purify them! Those who have not escaped sorrow will be made to escape sorrow!" Thus he spoke. At that time, at that moment, the ground on the left and right sides of the road was level, a beautiful plain, completely pure, with auspicious streams of water of equal width, stretching for ten thousand yojanas.
