Regarding the texts on discipline, and the direct Dharma of the Mahayana, seeing reality as it is, the very nature of reality, diligently studying with the Dharmakaya of reality, but being unable to practice meditation, abandoning the offerings of seven sevens, and instead looking back, relying on the two Hinayana, as well as the Dharma of remaining in place, inferior treatises, studying the Abhidharma discourses, the texts of the Hinayana, if one studies to abide, then this is cutting off the seed of the Tathagatagarbha, with the obscuring causes that hinder the path, it is not the path of the Bodhisattva. To deliberately do so is a downfall. If a son of the Buddha, after the Nirvana of the Buddha, claims ownership of teaching the Dharma, and the residence of the Sangha, claims ownership of displaying miracles, claims ownership of entering into meditation, claims ownership of coming and going, if he acts in this way, then he is not friendly to the arising of loving-kindness, and fighting and quarreling are also within the scope of good mediation. The wealth of the Three Jewels should also be properly protected and should not be used improperly. It should be treated as one's own property. In this, many inverted actions are accomplished, and if one uses the wealth of the Three Jewels with a self-damaging mind, it is a downfall. If a son of the Buddha previously resided in the residence of the Sangha, and later a Bodhisattva and a Bhikshu are invited, and then one sees the houses of the Sangha, towns, villages, the residence of the king, and when entering the summer retreat, coming into the Sangha, the Sangha who previously resided there, if they come, they are welcomed, if they leave, they are sent off, with offerings of food, houses, sleeping bedding, beds, and various items are offered and given. If someone has no wealth, then they should sell their own body, sons and daughters, and offer and give everything that is needed. If a patron comes, taking care of the general Sangha, and a guest of the Sangha, in a place where there is a share of the wealth of offerings, the owner of the Sangha's residence should arrange to take care of the Sangha's guests in order, and if the Sangha who previously resided there goes alone to receive care, without arranging for the Sangha's guests, then the owner of the Sangha's residence will receive immeasurable sins.

It is like an animal. Not a monastic, nor a descendant of the Shakya clan, doing so is a downfall. A son of the Buddha should not, under any circumstances, privately accept offerings out of turn and claim them as his own. Such offerings belong to the Sangha of the ten directions. If one privately accepts and takes them, it is taking the property of the Sangha of the ten directions as one's own, and one will lose eight kinds of merit, offend the Buddha, the noble ones, the Khenpo, the Sangha, parents, and the property of the sick. This is a downfall. A son of the Buddha, a Bodhisattva, whether ordained or a lay benefactor, should make offerings to the Sangha, accumulate merit, and make prayers. If one goes to the Sangha, one should ask the disciplinarian which one is in turn to receive offerings today. In this way, one will obtain the blessings of the Sangha of the ten directions. Compared to making offerings separately to an Arhat, a Bodhisattva, or fifty members of the Sangha, it is more meritorious to make offerings to an ordinary member of the Sangha who is in turn. Apart from that, making offerings to other members of the Sangha is an evil and wicked practice. For the seven Buddhas, there is no rule of making offerings separately. Going against the way of service, making offerings to the Sangha separately is a downfall. A son of the Buddha, with malicious intent, for the sake of livelihood, sells male prostitutes, adorns himself, cooks, beats himself, gathers male prostitutes, looks at the sexual organs of male prostitutes. To those who have nightmares, he speaks of good and bad omens, saying male or female. He speaks of false magical mantras, creates methods to harm enemies, concocts various poisons, creates hundreds and thousands of kinds of poisons, such as snake venom, unrefined gold and silver poison, and curses, etc. To deliberately do such things without any compassion is a downfall. A son of the Buddha, generating malicious intent, slanders the Three Jewels with his own body, speaks of false kinship to others, speaks empty words, but does things that are harmful. He acts as a matchmaker for ordinary women and men, facilitating improper sexual conduct, without any fear or attachment. During the six times, when making offerings, and when making regular offerings every three months of the year.
