Will be revered. Then, the Blessed One, in order to clearly repeat these meanings, spoke in verses: The extremely profound and sacred Dharma, will become the basis of great compassion. Extremely difficult to measure, like the sky, there is no dwelling and no form. The great effort of the Bodhisattva, endowed with great qualities, through the wisdom of the Victorious Ones and great compassion, the hero is able to transcend the world. Sentient beings without protectors or refuge, bound by the suffering and afflictions of samsara, are washed with the water of great compassion, enabling sentient beings to be liberated. By generating compassion, the Bodhisattva can dry up the ocean of samsara, not the retinue of the Hearer Vehicle, nor the practitioners of the Solitary Realizer Vehicle. Sentient beings with attachment, hatred, and ignorance, who will fall into the lower realms, are washed with the water of great compassion, freeing them from all suffering. Son of the lineage, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who truly understands each and every word, equal to the expanse of space, immeasurable, limitless, extremely vast, possesses all the Dharmas of the Buddhas, namely, the samadhis and dharanis, and the great wheel of extremely steadfast great patience armor. Any Bodhisattva Mahasattva who possesses this wheel, from the initial generation of the mind, completely abandons the five desires, far surpassing all Hearers and Solitary Realizers, becoming a great field of merit for all Hearers and Solitary Realizers, will be offered, protected, and revered by all practitioners of the Hearer and Solitary Realizer Vehicles. How then does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva truly understand each and every word, equal to the expanse of space, immeasurable, limitless, extremely vast, possessing all the Dharmas of the Buddhas, namely, the samadhis and dharanis, and the great wheel of extremely steadfast great armor? Like this, Bodhisattvas deeply contemplate all Dharmas, just as the light of the moon disc pervades all of space.

Likewise, the mind becomes equanimity, without characteristics, without reliance, without dwelling, without the doors of all uncontaminated samadhis, and without the activity of the mind in all the doors of dharanis. Being separated from the mind's conceptual attachment to the eye, form, eye consciousness, and the contact of the eye's combination, from the absence of the mind's activity, due to the condition of the eye's combined contact, the three kinds of inner feelings arise: pleasure, pain, and neither pleasure nor pain, the mind is completely pacified and without attachment. Similarly, with regard to the ear, sound, ear consciousness, and the contact of the ear's combination; the nose, smell, nose consciousness, and the contact of the nose's combination; the tongue, taste, tongue consciousness, and the contact of the tongue's combination; the body, tangible object, body consciousness, and the contact of the body's combination; and between the mind, dharma, mind consciousness, and the contact of the mind's combination, think extensively in the same way as described in the previous text, then all mind, intellect, and consciousness are always peaceful and without attachment. The three kinds of feelings that arise from mind, intellect, and consciousness, namely pleasure, pain, and neither pleasure nor pain, the mind is always peaceful and without attachment. In all aspects of the aggregates, realms, and sources of the three times, there is no acceptance or rejection, which is the realm of no mind. Whatever the three realms, three actions, three contacts, three feelings, three faculties, three vehicles, three vows, three liberations, in all those aspects, the mind is completely pacified, without location, without characteristics, and without acceptance, it abides in equanimity. Whatever generosity, ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, and all perfections, the mind has no activity and abides in complete peace. Similarly, in the four mindfulnesses, four correct abandonments, four miraculous legs, five faculties, five powers, seven branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path, there is also no activity of the mind.
