If one abides in this, one will eat the food of meditation for one day or up to seven days. Even when rising from that samadhi, one does not take an extremely peaceful mind, and will abide in stillness. Furthermore, one will also enter into the samadhi of emptiness that reaches the ultimate meaning. When abiding in that samadhi, the mind is extremely equanimous, like the sky, without any fabrication, and from all the pores of the body, drops of nectar like stars will appear, thereby eliminating all the complete suffering bound by afflictions. Rising from that samadhi, one obtains true mindfulness, and a special joy pervades the body, just as a son of the gods, a great sovereign, and entering into all the samadhis of bliss, experiencing extreme bliss from all the pores of the body, so too, the bodhisattva, because the body touches bliss, will remember the Buddha. Because of remembering the Buddha, one does not see any other signs besides the Buddha. At that time, if that bodhisattva remembers one Buddha, he sees one Buddha. If he remembers many Buddhas, he sees many Buddhas. If he remembers the Buddha's body as small, he sees the Buddha's body as small. If he remembers the Buddha's body as large, he sees the Buddha's body as large. If he remembers the Buddha's body as immeasurable, he sees the Buddha's body as immeasurable. If he remembers his own body as possessing the signs of the Buddha's body, he sees his own body as being like the Buddha's body, possessing perfect signs. If he remembers the body of another as the Buddha's body, he sees the body of another as being like the Buddha's body, possessing perfect signs. If he remembers all sentient and non-sentient beings, and all that belongs to form, as possessing the signs of the Buddha's body, he sees all sentient and non-sentient beings, and all that belongs to form, as being like the Buddha's body, possessing perfect signs, and does not see other forms. At that time, that bodhisattva also thinks thus: all dharmas and all forms are like illusions.
