There will be no error in the Great Vehicle. There will be no error in the person of the Great Vehicle. The lineage of the Three Jewels will increase completely, and in the teachings of the Thus-Gone One, whether it is a monastic attendant who is a vessel of Dharma or not a vessel of Dharma, even if small, wearing a fragment of Dharma robes and having shaved hair and facial hair, there will be no error in that. The Dharma of the Great Vehicle will increase more and more and will not regress. Sharp wisdom and the excellence of merit will always arise and increase. One will have power over all the samādhis, dhāraṇīs, patience, and bhūmis and will not regress. One will always meet virtuous friends and be in accordance with them. One will always see all the Buddhas and not be separated from them. One will see the bodhisattvas and the attendants of the śrāvakas and not be separated from them. One will hear the Dharma and not be separated from it. One will make offerings to the saṃgha and serve them with respect and not be separated from them. One will not be satisfied with diligence in seeking all roots of virtue. One will not be satisfied in mind with the conduct of enlightenment and various aspirations. One will also obtain other fruits as described above. Ninth fascicle. Furthermore, son of the lineage! If a bodhisattva mahāsattva completely abandons harmful thoughts for as long as they live, all sentient beings will respect and regard them as a guru. Their mind will be extremely pure and free from defilement. By that power, all roots of virtue will be completely perfected. From beginningless time, drowning in the ocean of saṃsāra in the five realms, also because of harmful thoughts, one commits sinful and unwholesome deeds with body, speech, and mind, and also instigates others to do so, and rejoices in what is seen and heard. From this arise the obscurations of affliction, the obscurations of sentient beings, and the obscurations of Dharma, and one becomes obscured by the obscuration of committing harmful thoughts. Thus, by the wheel of completely abandoning harmful thoughts, having completely destroyed without leaving any remainder, one does not take the fully ripened fruit. Even in this very body, gods and humans and so on are all delighted and pleased, and there is no doubt, and the mind is extremely pure.

and become free from defilements. Even at the time of death and transmigration, the body and mind will not be tormented by suffering, and one will die and transmigrate surrounded by pleasing sons, wives, and all attendants. One will not see the extremely frightening messengers of Yama. One will meet a pleasing, Dharma-tamed, virtuous, and meritorious, genuine field of merit, a virtuous friend, and the body and mind will be greatly rejoiced, and with respect, great faith will arise. After the end of life, one will be reborn as a human being, with complete faculties, endowed with limbs, and wherever one is born, the mind will be completely pure and undefiled, with a good appearance, a gentle mind, and great happiness and joy. Again, one will meet a pleasing, Dharma-tamed, virtuous, and meritorious, genuine field of merit, a virtuous friend, and learn to be in harmony with him, completely abandon harmful thoughts, cut off all sins and non-virtuous dharmas, perfect all excellent virtuous dharmas, seek all the categories of Mahayana Dharma, gradually engage in the aspirations and practices of Bodhisattvas, and from entering the vast ocean of wisdom, until attaining unsurpassed enlightenment. The Buddha's pure land is free from turbidity, blemishes, clouds, dust, dirt, impurities, unpleasantness, and ugliness, and is adorned with many precious jewels, pleasing, free from pride, with beautiful and lovely forms, with unimpaired faculties, and beings whose minds are always peaceful will be born in that pure land, and will be adorned with love, compassion, and perfect qualities. The life span of the Tathagata is also immeasurable, and he teaches the sacred Dharma as he tames beings. Even after complete Nirvana, the sacred Dharma will remain for a long time, benefiting and bringing happiness to immeasurable beings. Son of good family, this is the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who completely abandons harmful thoughts.
