One will not fall into hell, nor into other unfortunate realms. If any sentient being wishes to purify all the obscurations of their sinful actions without remainder, they should diligently study and uphold this category of sacred Dharma that I have taught. If one, through this cause, feels great shame in the presence of the Sangha, and with a sense of embarrassment, confesses each sinful action individually, then all the sinful actions committed in the past will be completely purified without remainder. Eighth Chapter. At that time, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Vajragarbha again said to the Blessed One: Venerable Blessed One, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva not become confused about the Hearer Vehicle? How does one not become confused about an individual of the Hearer Vehicle? How does one not become confused about the Solitary Realizer Vehicle? How does one not become confused about an individual of the Solitary Realizer Vehicle? How does one not become confused about the Great Vehicle? How does one not become confused about an individual of the Great Vehicle? How does one make the lineage of the Three Jewels constantly increase? How does one not become confused about those who have gone forth into the teachings of the Tathagata, whether they are vessels of the Dharma or not, even those who are young, have shaved their hair and beards, and wear fragments of monastic robes? How does one make the Dharma of the Great Vehicle increase more and more and not regress? How does one make sharp wisdom and the distinction of merit constantly arise and increase? How does one gain mastery over Samadhi, Dharani, Patience, and the Bhumis, and not regress? How does one constantly meet with virtuous friends and be in accordance with them? How does one constantly see all the Buddhas, not be separated from the attendants of Bodhisattvas and Hearers, not be separated from hearing the Dharma, not be separated from making offerings to the Sangha, and not be separated from serving and respecting them? How does one not become weary of diligently engaging in all virtuous roots? How does one engage in the conduct of Bodhi

are not satisfied with various forms. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Vajragarbha, saying: "Son of the lineage, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas have ten kinds of wheels. If a Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses these ten wheels, then they will not be confused about the Hearer Vehicle. They will not be confused about the individuals of the Hearer Vehicle. They will not be confused about the Solitary Buddha Vehicle. They will not be confused about the individuals of the Solitary Buddha Vehicle. They will not be confused about the Great Vehicle. They will not be confused about the individuals of the Great Vehicle. The lineage of the Three Jewels will always increase completely. In the Tathagata's teachings, whether ordained as a vessel of Dharma or not a vessel of Dharma, even if small, as long as they wear a fragment of the Dharma robe and shave their hair and beard, they will not be confused. For the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, it will increase more and more and not regress, and the distinction of sharp wisdom and merit will constantly arise and increase. They will have mastery over all samadhis, dharanis, patience, and bhumis, and will not regress. They will always meet virtuous friends and follow them. They will always see all Buddhas and not be separated from them. They will see Bodhisattvas and the vicinity of Solitary Buddhas and not be separated from them. They will hear the Dharma and not be separated from it. To the Sangha, they will not be separated from making offerings and showing reverence. They will not be satisfied with diligence in all roots of virtue. They will not be satisfied with various aspirations and practices of Bodhi. All the sinful and unwholesome deeds done in the past will be destroyed without remainder by the wisdom of the noble Dharma, which is as hard and sharp as a vajra, and they will not experience the ripening fruit. They will not do any new sinful and unwholesome deeds. With a mind free from weariness and laziness, they will turn the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma. For the seven precious limbs of Bodhi, they will strive with a mind free from weariness and laziness. All sentient beings
