The ground was definitely released. At that time, the sons of that Rakshasa woman said to their mother: "The flesh and blood of this man's body, the great king has bestowed upon us. Please allow us to eat and drink him, so that we may have strength and also serve as servants to our mother." Then, the Rakshasa woman said to her sons: "These who wear the robes are not for you to eat. If you generate an unkind and sinful mind towards him, you will become a vessel of great suffering." Then, the sons of the Rakshasa woman, together with their retinue, surrounded him, prostrated with reverence, joined their palms, and spoke in verse: "You wear the clothes of a great sage and have become a field of great merit. Therefore, by offering to you, may we be liberated from the bonds of existence." At that time, the great Rakshasa woman named Weapon Face also arrived at that cemetery with five thousand attendants. That Rakshasa woman also saw that the man was bound by five bonds, his hair and beard were shaved, and a piece of robe was hung around his neck. So she surrounded him, prostrated with reverence, joined her palms, and spoke in verse: "You wear the sewn robes, and you will surely attain the bliss of Nirvana. Therefore, if we harm you, we fear that all the Buddhas will condemn us." Then, the sons of that Rakshasa woman said to their mother: "We constantly seize the essence of people, and likewise eat and drink flesh and blood. In order to fully increase our body and strength, please allow us to treat this man as we please." Then, that Rakshasa woman said to her sons: "If you harm this person whose hair and beard are shaved and who wears the robes, you will surely fall into the Avici Hell and become a vessel of long-lasting great suffering." Then, the Rakshasa woman, together with her sons and retinue, surrounded him, prostrated with reverence, joined her palms, and spoke these verses: "We are very afraid of the hell of sentient beings, therefore we will not harm your life. We will also untie these bonds and let you go. May you be liberated from all the sufferings of hell." At that time

Then, the rakshasi and her children and retinue generated a mind of compassion, released that person from his bonds, and after confessing and making him happy, they let him go. Later, that person came to the king very early in the morning and reported those things in detail. At that time, King Conqueror of Enemies and his retinue, upon hearing those words, were terrified and greatly astonished, and so they enacted a law and issued a decree to the people of the country: 'From now on, whoever resides in my country, whether they are Buddhist disciples who uphold the precepts or break them, even if they are young and have not taken vows but have shaved their hair and beards and wear robes, if anyone mocks or harms them, they shall all be killed.' Because of this reason, many people also delighted in merit, and everyone gradually turned towards the teachings, so that all the people in Jambudvipa (the southern continent) ruled by that king thought in this way and took refuge in the Three Jewels. Son of good family, just like that, in the past, the rakshasi was born into the lineage of yakshas, taking away splendor, eating flesh and drinking blood, craving evil, and without compassion, even if those who are like that, without discipline, having shaved hair and beards, wearing fragments of Dharma robes around their necks, if they circumambulate, caress, offer, prostrate, make offerings, and praise with verses, without a mind to harm, then in the future, kshatriyas of the chandala (outcaste) class, and ministers, householders, merchants, and shramanas, and brahmins of the chandala (outcaste) class, etc., holding malicious minds and without compassion, will commit sins even greater than yakshas and rakshasas. Those who are foolish and deluded, completely cutting off the roots of virtue, whether they have become vessels of Dharma by being ordained in my teachings or have not become vessels of Dharma, do not have faith and respect for disciples who have shaved their hair and beards and wear robes, but instead harm them, revile and beat them, force them to tremble, imprison them in prisons, and even separate them from the power of life, these people are violating the great transgressions taught by all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present, burning all roots of virtue.
