There are trees, jewel trees, flower trees, fruit trees, trees of various musical instruments, and so on, adorned with countless excellent living utensils. Similarly, in short, the noble son, in order to fully ripen many sentient beings, enters into samadhi as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River every morning. Having arisen from that samadhi, in all the Buddha fields of the ten directions, he fully ripens all sentient beings to be tamed with benefits and happiness, according to whatever taming is appropriate. Noble son, in the past, during immeasurable and countless great kalpas, in the world realms where the Tathagata does not reside during the five degenerations, he fully ripens sentient beings. In the future, in some world realms, if the terror of weapons arises and sentient beings suffer, the noble son, seeing such a situation, in the morning, through the power of samadhi, pacifies the terror of weapons and causes sentient beings to cherish each other with loving-kindness. In order to benefit, bring happiness, and fully mature beings, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, with immeasurable and countless vows like the sands of the Ganges, which are inexhaustible, generate great compassion and great, unshakeable diligence. Thus, having generated great compassion and unshakeable diligence, with inexhaustible vows, by the power of ascending higher and higher, even in a single day and night, or in a mere moment, they subdue countless beings, liberate them from various sufferings, and fulfill the hopes of all beings according to their desires. In any place where beings suffer from various desires, tormented by desire, if they single-mindedly recite the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ksitigarbha, and offer with focused and respectful devotion, they will obtain all that they desire, be free from suffering, and as they wish, they will obtain benefits from birth in the heavenly realms to Nirvana. In any place where beings suffer from lack of food and drink, if they single-mindedly recite the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ksitigarbha, and offer with focused and respectful devotion, they will obtain all that they desire, be endowed with food and drink, and will obtain benefits from birth in the heavenly realms to Nirvana. If one single-mindedly recites the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ksitigarbha and makes offerings with focused devotion, one will meet with loving friends and be separated from hateful enemies. As one wishes, one will attain everything from being born in the heavenly realms to attaining Nirvana. In any place, if any sentient beings are tormented by physical and mental illnesses and many sufferings, if they single-mindedly recite the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ksitigarbha and make offerings with focused devotion, then all of them will have physical and mental well-being, be free from all illnesses, and as they wish, they will attain everything from being born in the heavenly realms to attaining Nirvana. In any place, if any sentient beings are constantly fighting and arguing, if they single-mindedly recite the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ksitigarbha and make offerings with focused devotion, then all of them will have physical and mental well-being, be free from all illnesses, and as they wish, they will attain everything from being born in the heavenly realms to attaining Nirvana. In any place, if any sentient beings are constantly fighting and arguing, if they single-mindedly recite the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ksitigarbha and make offerings with focused devotion, then they will be free from hateful thoughts, and they will rejoice in each other, be patient, and with loving hearts, they will repent and be affectionate, and as they wish, they will attain everything from being born in the heavenly realms to attaining Nirvana. In any place, if any sentient beings are imprisoned, or confined in a prison, or bound by iron, shackles, or wooden yokes, or their limbs are bound and they suffer, if they single-mindedly recite the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Ksitigarbha and make offerings with focused devotion, then all of them will be freed from prisons, iron, shackles, and fetters, and they will become free and joyful, and as they wish, they will attain everything from being born in the heavenly realms to attaining Nirvana.
