O! All dharmas are subdued by dependent origination, in which there is no room for self. All dharmas are subdued by abiding in mindfulness, in which there is no room for memory and attention. All dharmas are subdued by right abandonment, in which there is no room for taking and rejecting. All dharmas are subdued by the feet of magical power, in which there is no room for coming and going. All dharmas are subdued by the faculties, in which there is no room for inferiority. All dharmas are subdued by strength, in which there is no room for subjugation. All dharmas are subdued by the limbs of enlightenment, in which there is no room for ignorance. All dharmas are subdued by the path, in which there is no room for evil deeds and evil thoughts. All dharmas are subdued by the ten powers, in which there is no room for all habitual tendencies. All dharmas are subdued by fearlessness, in which there is no fear or dread. All dharmas are subdued by non-contamination, in which there is no room for all effort. All dharmas are subdued by wisdom, in which there is no room for ignorance. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of a doer, in which there is no room for action. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of an object, in which there is no room for consciousness. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of mind, in which there is no room for name and form. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of a place, in which there is no room for the six sense bases. All dharmas are subdued by non-duality, in which there is no room for contact. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of differentiated contact, in which there is no room for feeling. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of "mine," in which there is no room for craving. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of power, in which there is no room for grasping. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of a body, in which there is no room for existence. All dharmas are subdued by the absence of death and transference, in which there is no room for birth. All dharmas are subdued by possessing essence, in which there is no room for old age. All dharmas are subdued by being inexhaustible, in which there is no room for death. Blessed One, this is the unobstructed path of the Bodhisattvas. A Bodhisattva who abides on this path is not robbed by all demons, not subdued by all opponents, not deceived by all afflictions, by all Buddhas.

It is a praise. All the gods pay homage. World Honored One, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who possesses such wisdom is said to have found the great treasure of Dharma, is said to be not poor, is said to have the steadfast intention of the Tathagatas, is said to be the holder of the treasury of the Tathagatas, is said to have done what should be done, has done what has been done, has obtained his own benefit, is said to be as unfathomable as the ocean, and as immovable as Mount Sumeru. World Honored One, I think this is the true exposition of the Dharma. World Honored One, am I in accordance with the true exposition of the Dharma? The World Honored One said: Near Round, this of yours is in accordance with the true exposition of the Dharma. Relying on this true exposition of the Dharma, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva will realize perfect and complete enlightenment. Then, the venerable Ananda said to the World Honored One: World Honored One, upholding the sacred Dharma is the main Dharma of the Bodhisattvas. A Bodhisattva who diligently upholds the sacred Dharma is a Bodhisattva who pleases the Buddhas. Why is that? The Buddhas, the World Honored Ones, are the supreme Dharma. World Honored One, what is the upholding of the sacred Dharma? For example, the profound Sutras spoken by the Tathagata, receiving them, reciting them, and contemplating their meaning and words, is the Bodhisattva's upholding of the sacred Dharma. World Honored One, furthermore, upholding practice is also the Bodhisattva's upholding of the sacred Dharma. Then, what is the practice of the Bodhisattvas? World Honored One, whatever the bodily actions of the Bodhisattvas, whatever the verbal actions, whatever the mental actions, all of these are performed with attention to all sentient beings. Great compassion goes before, great compassion becomes the dominant force, it is the source of benefit for all sentient beings, and it arises from the superior intention of benefiting and bringing happiness to all sentient beings. With such a mind of benefiting
