Does not generate timidity. Also obtains the fearlessness of peace. What is the fearlessness of peace? It is that by which oneself and others are pacified. Also obtains the fearlessness of sound. What is the fearlessness of sound? It is that by which sentient beings are tamed into the Hearer Vehicle. Also obtains the fearlessness of solitary places. What is the fearlessness of solitary places? It is that by which sentient beings are tamed into the Solitary Buddha Vehicle. Also obtains the fearlessness of the high. What is the fearlessness of the high? It is that by which sentient beings are tamed into the Great Vehicle. Also obtains the uncommon fearlessness. What is the uncommon fearlessness? It is that by which one truly and completely demonstrates the words of non-contamination, power, and fearlessness. Also obtains the fearlessness of calm abiding. What is the fearlessness of calm abiding? It is that by which one performs the words of the aspects of enlightenment. Also obtains the fearlessness of non-disparagement. What is the fearlessness of non-disparagement? It is that by which all sentient beings are satisfied. Also obtains the fearlessness of cause and condition. What is the fearlessness of cause and condition? It is that by which all opponents are completely defeated. Also obtains the fearlessness of demonstration. What is the fearlessness of demonstration? It is that by which one teaches the Dharma to the four assemblies without hesitation. World-Honored One, I think that this is the true expression of the Dharma. World-Honored One, does what I do accord with the true expression of the Dharma? The World-Honored One said: Unimpeded, this of yours accords with the true expression of the Dharma. Sixth Chapter Then, the venerable Subhuti said this to the World-Honored One: World-Honored One, I will seek the Bodhisattva Dharma-holders who seek the true expression of the Dharma. Why is that? World-Honored One, from the Dharma-holders, one will realize the Dharma. Therefore, for those who seek the Dharma, since they are diligent in this, they should seek from the Dharma-holders. Why is that? World-Honored One, the Dharma arises from those who are devoted to the Dharma, not from those who are devoted to material offerings of the Dharma. It arises from those who do not regard body and life, and those who have a view of the afterlife, and those who desire solitude, not from those who have great faith in villages, cities, and towns.
