Therefore, one should practice meditation. In order to be skilled in subduing non-humans, great belly-goers, and accomplished mantra holders, Bodhisattvas should especially rejoice in solitary places. In order to comprehend the three knowledges, Bodhisattvas should become mantra holders. In order to attain the six superknowledges, Bodhisattvas should become the wisdom of superknowledge. In order to be skilled in the aggregates, elements, and sources, Bodhisattvas should study extensively. In order to be skilled in all treatises, Bodhisattvas should become teachers. In order to teach the Dharma without contamination, Bodhisattvas should become Dharma speakers. In order to subdue desire, hatred, and ignorance, Bodhisattvas should become holders of discipline. In order to know contentment in all permissible matters, Bodhisattvas should become holders of mothers. In order to be free from all seeking, Bodhisattvas should be gentle. In order to be free from desire, Bodhisattvas should not be rough. In order to be free from hatred, Bodhisattvas should not be arrogant. In order to be free from ignorance, Bodhisattvas should not speak meaningless words. In order to guard speech, Bodhisattvas should not speak rambling words. In order to introduce into the Great Vehicle, Bodhisattvas should become guides. In order not to let the vow of Bodhi decline, Bodhisattvas should be like bearing a heavy burden. In order for all beings to rely on them, Bodhisattvas should be like gardens. In order to perfect the accumulation of omniscient wisdom, Bodhisattvas should be like cities. In order to love all beings like a beloved child, Bodhisattvas should desire to benefit them. In order for all beings to obtain what they need, Bodhisattvas should be like servants. Sons of lineage, moreover, Bodhisattvas are upright towards the rough, without pride towards the arrogant, without deception towards the deceitful, possessing non-deceit towards those who act crudely, possessing compassion towards those who have gone astray, possessing shame towards the shameless, and towards those who speak meaningless words

是那些对罪恶有羞耻之心，且圆满具足的人们啊！ 是那些对所有外道的攻击，内心毫不畏惧的人们啊！ 是那些对一切眷属，毫无顾忌的人们啊！ 是那些不被一切世间法所沾染的人们啊！ 是那些不被一切魔所夺走的人们啊！ 是那些不被一切外道攻击所征服的人们啊！ 是那些对上师们，怀有恭敬之心的人们啊！ 是那些对圣者们，怀有敬重之心的人们啊！ 是那些将博学多闻者，视为榜样的人们啊！ 是那些对禅定者，获得惊叹的人们啊！ 是那些对智者，生起殊胜意乐的人们啊！ 是那些对说法者，怀有如佛一般的珍视之心的人们啊！ 是那些皈依菩萨的人们啊！ 是那些以一切心思，投入于诸佛的人们啊！ 是那些将精进，视为核心的人们啊！ 是那些不惧怕一切烦恼的人们啊！ 是那些因倾向于大悲，而不顾涅槃的人们啊！ 是那些 以欢喜令一切众生圆满成熟，而倾向于轮回的人们啊！ 是那些不贪图一切利养恭敬，从而无染地宣说佛法的人们啊！ 是那些通达无常、痛苦、无我、不净，从而心不颠倒的人们啊！ 是那些不执着一切境，从而心解脱的人们啊！ 是那些生于圣族，从而种姓圆满的人们啊！ 是那些因出家众多，从而智慧圆满的人们啊！ 是那些了知痛苦、集起、灭除、道，从而成为圣者的人们啊！ 是那些安住于戒律、听闻、谨慎，从而成为大丈夫的人们啊！ 是那些具足通达诸行无自性，从而对一切众生心怀平等的人们啊！ 是那些被圣者印证，从而不堕入邪道的人们啊！ 是那些被不退转印证，从而趋向菩提心要的人们啊！ 是那些因威仪圆满，菩萨恒常清净如法行持的人们啊！ 不是那些对世间俗语感到欢喜的人们啊！ 不是那些对罪恶之友感到欢喜

They are those who have a sense of shame for evil and are perfectly endowed! They are those who are not afraid in their hearts of all external attacks! They are those who have no reservations towards all their retinue! They are those who are not stained by all worldly dharmas! They are those who are not robbed by all demons! They are those who are not subdued by all external attacks! They are those who have respect for the lamas! They are those who have reverence for the noble ones! They are those who take those who have heard much as examples! They are those who are amazed by those who meditate! They are those who develop superior intentions towards the wise! They are those who cherish those who speak the Dharma as if they were Buddhas! They are those who take refuge in the Bodhisattvas! They are those who engage with all their minds in the Buddhas! They are those who regard diligence as the essence! They are those who are not afraid of all defilements! They are those who, because they are inclined towards great compassion, do not look to Nirvana! They are those who are delighted to bring all sentient beings to complete maturity and are inclined towards samsara! They are those who do not look to all gains and honors and therefore teach the Dharma without material concerns! They are those who understand impermanence, suffering, selflessness, and impurity and therefore have minds that are not inverted! They are those who do not cling to all objects and therefore have minds that are liberated! They are those who are born into noble families and therefore have perfect lineages! They are those who have many renunciations and therefore have perfect wisdom! They are those who know suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path, and therefore are noble ones! They are those who abide in discipline, hearing, and mindfulness, and therefore are great beings! They are those who are endowed with the complete understanding that all phenomena are without self-nature and therefore have equal minds towards all sentient beings! They are those who are sealed by the noble ones and therefore are of a nature that does not fall into wrong paths! They are those who are sealed with non-retrogression and therefore are inclined towards the heart of enlightenment! They are those who, because of their perfect and beautiful conduct, are Bodhisattvas who always practice purely and correctly! They are not those who are delighted in worldly gossip! Not those who are delighted in evil friends
