From the Chapter on Qualities: Perfect Enlightenment, Whichever wise one, Correctly remembers these, Will greatly increase through white dharma. Whoever constantly remains in equanimity, And whose mindfulness on dharma is unwavering, He pleases all the Buddhas Of the past and the future. Relying on the sacred dharma, possessing dharma, With dharma-recollection as the field of activity, The Bodhisattva, steadfast in conduct, Will realize perfect enlightenment. Whatever the nature of dharmas, in that very way, Thinking, 'I will transform,' That Bodhisattva in equanimity, Should know this dharma-recollection. Without 'I' and without grasping at 'I', Whatever the nature of dharmas, in that very way, Thinking, 'I will transform', This is meditating on dharma-recollection. The unsurpassed field of merit, The Sangha, Buddhas, and disciples, And those who will become Buddhas and attain enlightenment, Always correctly recollect them. Those immeasurable like the ocean, Through my recollection of them, Through the merit I have fully accumulated, May sentient beings become Thus-Gone Ones. Of those with irreversible conduct, Correctly recollecting their discipline, Thinking of benefiting all sentient beings, Whatever supreme merit is generated. For the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, Dedicate those to perfect enlightenment. Benefiting all sentient beings, That is called discipline-recollection. Giving dharma without material possessions, And whatever virtue from abandoning afflictions, For the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, Dedicate it with the nature of compassion. Giving-recollection is perfectly complete, Abiding greatly in the field and birth, Without signs and without effort, It shines universally like the sun. Whatever virtue of all the gods, And what arises from virtuous actions, For the sake of all sentient beings in that happiness, Desire it in that way with the nature of compassion. By what does the world become gods, And become unsurpassed Buddhas, May those pleasures always be present, May I accomplish it in that very way. Fifth Chapter. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Non-Attachment, and the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Intelligence Overpowering, both together with their attendants, went to where the Blessed One was. Having bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, and circumambulated him many times, with the Blessed One's permission, they sat down to one side, together with their attendants.

Then, gathering in one direction, those two holy men spoke to the Bhagavan in this way: "Bhagavan, we two have gathered here and are expounding the true Dharma. Do the Buddhas, the Bhagavans, not know? Do they not understand? Do they not completely not know? There is not even a little. Bhagavan, is it in accordance with the true Dharma that we two are expounding?" The Bhagavan replied: "Noble sons, it is just so, it is as you have said. Do the Buddhas, the Bhagavans, not know? Do they not understand? Do they not completely not know? There is not even a little. The Buddhas, the Bhagavans, are those who possess unobstructed wisdom in all places. Noble sons, the true Dharma that you two are expounding is in accordance. Noble sons, whatever words and all words that the Bodhisattvas speak, all of that should be understood as the blessing of the Tathagata. Noble sons, well done! Well done! Just as you two have done, so should the true Dharma be expounded. Noble sons, by expounding the true Dharma, you two have done the work of the Buddha. The Tathagata also rejoices in the true Dharma that you two are expounding." Then, the venerable Shariputra said to the Bodhisattva Unfabricated, "Noble son, why are you called Unfabricated?" The Bodhisattva Unfabricated said: "Venerable son of Sharadvati, whatever Bodhisattva's body, speech, and mind's actions are extremely pure, not attached to all things, not seeking anything, not wanting to abandon even a little, not wanting to obtain, seeing the past, future, and present arising equally in suchness, not truly observing the inferior, middling, and superior dharmas even a little, that is called Unfabricated. Venerable son of Sharadvati, all dharmas are non-existent from the very beginning, therefore they are Unfabricated. Venerable son of Sharadvati, if some dharmas were existent from the very beginning, then they should be fabricated, but no dharma is existent from the very beginning, because they are non-existent from the very beginning."
