Not turning back from seeing, hearing, relying on, and venerating; not looking to one's own happiness; delighting in pacifying the suffering of others; devoted to the Dharma; possessing the wealth of the Dharma; possessing the food of the Dharma; possessing the medicine of the Dharma; possessing the treasure of the Dharma; possessing the power of the Dharma; being the master of the Dharma; being the benefactor of the Dharma, always delighting in giving; always being mindful; always delighting in solitude; becoming steps and bridges in all places; like the great road of a king; like the great sun; like the great Brahma; holding the vajra of great wisdom; breathing with the great Dharma; not being satisfied by looking at forms; not being satisfied by seeing. Thus, one should remember those Buddhas, the Bhagavat. By remembering them in this way, one strives to fully accomplish their qualities. One establishes mindfulness closely. One exerts effort. Therefore, it is called remembering the Buddha. This is the bodhisattva's close placement of mindfulness in remembering the Buddha. Now, what is the bodhisattva's close placement of mindfulness in remembering the Dharma? Here, the bodhisattva thinks thus: Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, possess limitless and boundless qualities; they are born from the Dharma, enjoy the share of the Dharma, are emanated by the Dharma, have the Dharma as their master, arise from the Dharma, have the Dharma as their field of activity, rely on the Dharma, and are accomplished by the Dharma. Those names and excellent marks of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are also born from the Dharma, obtained by the Dharma, and accomplished by the Dharma. Those ten powers of the Tathagata and the four fearlessnesses of the Tathagata are also born from the Dharma, obtained by the Dharma, and accomplished by the Dharma.
