Moreover, without attachment or desire, one initiates all roots of virtue; without conceptualization, one seeks everywhere for meditation and clairvoyance; without doubt about all dharmas, one seeks everywhere for hearing, thinking, and practicing; without pursuing all dharmas, one focuses on all kinds of virtuous roots; the mind does not abide in anything, yet all aspirations are accomplished; pride, arrogance, and conceit are subdued, and a body as indestructible as a diamond is achieved; knowing all treatises, one seeks everywhere for teachers and lamas. Son of good family, this is the true teaching of the bodhisattvas, which is perfectly endowed with the perfections. Furthermore, son of good family, one delights in generosity and also engages in harmony with miserly beings; one delights in morality and also engages in harmony with immoral beings; one delights in patience and also engages in harmony with harmful beings, those whose minds are inverted; one delights in diligence and also engages in harmony with lazy beings, those of little diligence, those whose diligence has declined; one delights in meditation and also engages in harmony with beings distracted by many activities, those whose minds are inverted; one delights in wisdom and also engages in harmony with foolish beings, those who are mute like sheep, those who are always without faith; one delights in skillful means and also engages in harmony with those who do not pursue any activities; one delights in aspiration and also engages in harmony with beings who are exhausted by samsara; one delights in power and also engages in harmony with weak and powerless beings; one delights in wisdom and also engages in harmony with beings who delight in samsara. Son of good family, this is the true teaching of the bodhisattvas, which is perfectly endowed with the perfections. Furthermore, son of good family, by the perfection of generosity, a bodhisattva obtains the jewel in hand and the treasury of space; by the perfection of morality, one completely transcends all the lower realms and obtains mastery over death and rebirth, as well as an intelligent mind; by the perfection of patience,

Well adorned with the marks and excellent signs of the Sugata, one obtains inexhaustible delight in beholding. Through the perfection of diligence, one obtains swift direct knowledge and mastery over all dharmas. Through the perfection of meditation, one obtains a pleasing body and mind, various forms of dharani and eloquence, and the abandonment of the obscurations of affliction. Through the perfection of wisdom, one obtains fearlessness and the four individual correct knowledges. Through the perfection of skillful means, one obtains ease of accomplishment and the absence of fault in the limits of the actions of body, speech, and mind. Through the perfection of aspiration, one obtains the remembrance of one's births in all lifetimes, the ability to go as one wishes, and the ability to rejoice as one wishes. Through the perfection of strength, one obtains invincibility by all afflictions, demons, and hostile forces, and transcendence over all the worlds. Through the perfection of wisdom, one obtains complete liberation from the aggregates, the Lord of Death, afflictions, and the demon of the sons of the gods. Son of good family, this is the correct exposition of the dharma that is perfectly endowed with the perfections of the bodhisattvas. Furthermore, son of good family, the bodhisattva also speaks of the praise of generosity, but does not pride himself on being purified by generosity. Similarly, he also speaks of the praise of ethics, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom, skillful means, aspiration, strength, and wisdom, but does not pride himself on being purified by wisdom. Why is that? Because all these dharmas should be abandoned after being truly cultivated. All these arise from conceptualization. Therefore, whatever is conceptualization and whatever dharmas arise from conceptualization should be abandoned. Therefore, the bodhisattva does not pride himself on being purified by conceptualization and the dharmas that arise from conceptualization; otherwise, by obtaining wisdom through the realm of non-conceptualization and non-proliferation, one will realize enlightenment and attain perfect Buddhahood. Spoken. Son of good family, what dharma is the term "bodhi" a synonym for? Bodhi is...
