Yes. The realm of the tongue and the realm of taste, and the realm of tongue consciousness are the realm of dharma. The realm of dharma is not the object of taste, not the sensation of taste, and not obtainable by tongue consciousness. The realm of the body and the realm of the tangible, and the realm of body consciousness are the realm of dharma. The realm of dharma is not the characteristic of a mass, not the characteristic of touch, and not the characteristic of maturation. The realm of mind and the realm of dharmas, and the realm of mind consciousness are the realm of dharma. The realm of dharma is not the characteristic of arising, abiding, and ceasing. Whoever understands it in this way, this is called the understanding of the realm of a Bodhisattva. What is the Bodhisattva's understanding of the sense bases? Understanding the sense bases as vast, understanding them as exhausted, understanding them as difficult, understanding them as bound, understanding them as painful, understanding them as decaying, understanding them as a river, understanding them as connected, and understanding them as variously bound, this is the understanding of the sense bases. This is called the Bodhisattva's understanding of the sense bases. Furthermore, understanding the sense bases as empty villages. For example, just as an inhabitant of an empty village does not think, "I am an inhabitant of an empty village," similarly, these sense bases do not think, "We are empty villages." Whoever understands these in this way, that is called the Bodhisattva's understanding of the sense bases. Furthermore, a Bodhisattva thinks this: the twelve sense bases, namely the sense base of the eye, the sense base of form, the sense base of the ear, the sense base of sound, the sense base of the nose, the sense base of smell, the sense base of the tongue, the sense base of taste, the sense base of the body, the sense base of the tangible, the sense base of the mind, and the sense base of dharmas, all of these are exhausted in just that much, and there is no "self" or "belonging to self" in this. Whoever understands it in this way, this is called the Bodhisattva's understanding of the sense bases. What is the Bodhisattva's understanding of the past and the future? Whoever understands that the past has no going and the future has no coming, this is called the understanding of the past and the future.

Furthermore, knowing that the past is exhausted, and knowing that the future is without action, this son of lineage is what is called a Bodhisattva's knowledge of the past and future. Among these, what is the knowledge of the path and the fruit? Knowing the six perfections is what is called knowing the path. Knowing the ten Bodhisattva grounds and the Tathagata ground is what is called knowing the fruit; knowing these is what is called a Bodhisattva's knowledge of the path and the fruit. Son of lineage, these are the ten knowledges of the Bodhisattvas. Son of lineage, Bodhisattvas, through these ten ways of entering the Dharma, should comprehend the very dominion of obtaining the ripening of uncontaminated virtues. When this correct Dharma was proclaimed, seventy-six thousand Bodhisattvas who had previously been completely subdued obtained forbearance of the Dharma of non-arising. Then, the Bodhisattva Wisdom Supremely Overpowering said to the Bodhisattva Without Attachment: Son of lineage, please boldly proclaim the correct Dharma that is exceedingly concordant with the Bodhisattvas' perfections. Why is that? Son of lineage, for example, this speech of perfections is a truly excellent speech. Son of lineage, among these, what are the perfections? What is the correct proclamation of them? After saying this, the Bodhisattva Without Attachment said to the Bodhisattva Wisdom Supremely Overpowering: Son of lineage, what is called perfection is the perfection of generosity, the perfection of ethics, the perfection of patience, the perfection of diligence, the perfection of meditation, the perfection of wisdom, the perfection of skillful means, the perfection of aspiration, the perfection of strength, and the perfection of knowledge. Son of lineage, these are the perfections. Among these, the correct proclamation of these perfections is as follows: Without the pride of giving is the perfection of generosity.

It is also not the case that one does not continuously and completely give away all possessions. Without the pride of morality, it is the perfection of morality, and it is also not the case that one does not engage in the virtues of morality, learning, and practice, and all frugal use of resources. Without the pride of patience, it is the perfection of patience, and it is also not the case that one does not constantly engage in patience and endurance. Without the pride of diligence, it is the perfection of diligence, and it is also not the case that one does not continuously and correctly accomplish all roots of virtue. Without the pride of meditation, it is the perfection of meditation, and it is also not the case that one does not constantly take to heart the practice of concentration. Without the pride of wisdom, it is the perfection of wisdom, and it is also not the case that one does not constantly strive to seek learning. Without the pride of skillful means, it is the perfection of skillful means, and it is also not the case that one disregards all the places of non-Buddhists and the activities of all sentient beings' roots of virtue. Without the pride of aspiration, it is the perfection of aspiration, and it is also not the case that one does not dedicate all sentient beings' roots of virtue and one's own various doors of roots of virtue, making them common with all sentient beings, to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Without the pride of power, it is the perfection of power, and it is also not the case that one does not subdue sentient beings filled with arrogance, pride, and conceit with the forms of the son of craving and Vajrapani. Without the pride of knowledge, it is the perfection of knowledge, and it is also not the case that one does not engage in the places of crafts, the places of joining, and all the places of activities. Son of the lineage, this is the Dharma of the Bodhisattvas, who are greatly endowed with the perfections, being truly spoken. Furthermore, son of the lineage, one does not hope for the ripening result, and one strives to completely give away all things in every way, and one does not discriminate about morality, and one does not abandon the training even for the sake of life, and it is also the nature of non-disturbance, and anger and hatred of harming mind do not arise.
