, and unwavering, and fully knowing the absence of self and what belongs to self and being solitary, yet the ear sense-source is not effort, nor is the sound sense-source effort. Such is the divine ear of a Bodhisattva. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva's knowledge of others' minds is endowed with complete knowledge of one's own mind. Because they are endowed with complete knowledge of their own mind, they fully know the minds and behaviors of all sentient beings. They also fully know, just as it is, that the minds of other sentient beings and individuals who have attachment are minds with attachment. They also fully know, just as it is, that minds without attachment are minds without attachment. Having known this, they do not become angry with those who have attachment, nor do they become attached to those who are without attachment. On the contrary, they find great compassion for those who have attachment, and they find great love for those who are without attachment. Similarly, those with hatred and those without hatred, those with delusion and those without delusion, those with craving and those without craving, those with grasping and those without grasping, those with afflictions and those without afflictions, those who are limited and those who are unlimited, those who are in meditative equipoise and those who are not in meditative equipoise, and those with liberated minds and those with unliberated minds, they also fully know them just as they are. Having known this, they do not become angry with sentient beings whose minds are not liberated, nor do they become attached to those whose minds are liberated. On the contrary, they find great love for those whose minds are liberated, and they find great compassion for those whose minds are not liberated. Even though they know all sentient beings, they do not become arrogant or conceited because of this knowledge. Through their knowledge of others' minds, they fully know the minds and behaviors of all sentient beings. These sentient beings do not know this until the Bodhisattva reveals it to them. Even the divine wisdom of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas cannot know this, so what need is there to mention ordinary people? This is the Bodhisattva's

It means knowing the minds of other beings. Furthermore, Bodhisattvas can remember their own and others' various kinds of past lives, and can remember one lifetime. They can remember two lifetimes, a hundred lifetimes, a thousand lifetimes, and even hundreds of thousands of lifetimes. They can remember countless billions of hundreds of thousands of lifetimes. They can also remember the eons of destruction. They can also remember the eons of formation. They can remember the eons of destruction and formation, and even remember countless billions of hundreds of thousands of great eons. Except for the Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas who abide on the ten bhumis, this kind of remembrance will confuse the world, including the gods. It's like this, I used to be like this in a certain place, my lineage was this, my clan was this, my color was like this, my name was this, my food was eating such and such things, my lifespan could last this long, and I experienced such and such happiness and suffering. After I died from there, I was reborn in a certain place. Then, after dying from there again, I was reborn here. My lineage is this, my clan is this, my color is like this, my name is this, my food is eating such and such things, my lifespan can last this long, and I experience such and such happiness and suffering. Remembering in this way, just like me, all sentient beings are also like this, even bees and ants can remember. This remembrance has no attachment, is uninterrupted, has no obscurations, has no obstacles, is not urged by time, is completely in accordance with great love and great compassion, is profound and immeasurable, has no latent habits, the connection of habits is completely pure, and is adorned with all accumulations of merit and wisdom. This is called the Bodhisattva's wisdom of remembering past lives. Furthermore, the wisdom of Bodhisattvas performing miracles is manifested by all merit and wisdom, is without obscurations, is spontaneously accomplished, is without conceptualization, and in countless billions of hundreds of thousands of eons
