I have become like this due to prolonged deep attachment to feelings of sorrow and joy, not having become a noble being. If you think that is a noble being, it is only a sign of virtue. If you think you have attained the fruit of a noble being, then you will fall into the wrong path. Also, that mind, due to prolonged practice of faith, the mind for a moment, at noon, in a distant place, can also see the market, the city, and relatives and friends. Sometimes you can also hear the sound of speech, and you can also see as if living outside the obstacles. That name is caused by the mind being suppressed and contracted, it is a sign of virtue, but it is not becoming a noble being. If you think that is a noble being, you will fall into the wrong path. Also, that mind, due to prolonged practice, without any reason, the bodies and appearances of virtuous friends change, and you see various forms. That name is a deceiving mind, an Asura entering the body. Sometimes it is deceived by the demons of the gods, entering the mind, and is able to explain the meaning of profound Dharma without hindrance, but that is not becoming a noble being. If you do not think that is a noble being, the work of the demons will subside and disappear. If you think that is a noble being, you will fall into the wrong path. Joyful one, those ten are the precursors of Samadhi, all of these are the skandha of form. Those are caused by erroneous meditation, therefore they have become like this, therefore they are deceived by inferior beings, they cannot control their own body temperature, they are confused when they encounter such causes and conditions, they do not know it themselves, and thinking that they are noble beings is a great lie, and they will fall into the great hell of beings. You and others should rely on such things. After the Tathagata has passed away, at the end of the last five hundred years of the future, tell those reasons, show those reasons. If the son of the gods does not find the opportunity of the demons, he will take form, leave instructions in the market, and give protection and refuge, and he will accomplish the supreme meaning. Joyful ones, sons of good families, enter into Samadhi and quiescence, and when the skandha of form is exhausted, you will see the minds of all the Buddhas, like a pure mirror.

Within, it is like seeing forms, capable of being experienced. If the mind is struck by a false thought, it cannot be moved, like being suppressed by a hungry ghost. The limbs remain as before, and seeing and hearing the Buddha are not confused. This is called being obscured by the aggregate of feeling. When one awakens from this suppression, the mind separates from the body, and if one then contemplates desire, one becomes free to move and dwell without obstruction. This is called the exhaustion of the aggregate of feeling. That person has transcended the impurities of views. If one investigates this meaning, one will accumulate the root of incorrect perceptions. Good, sons of the lineage, those who abide in this. From extreme obscuration, inner clarity arises in the mind, and having obtained great rays of light, a moment of inexhaustible compassion arises in the mind, and one regards even a bee on iron filings with love, as if it were one's only child. Likewise, having generated a mind of compassion, tears flow without awareness. This is called arising from this particularly renowned conduct. In this, feeling is not a fault, nor is it becoming a noble one. If one is consumed by feeling, one will not be mistaken, and after a long time, it will become peaceful and arise. If one thinks, "I am a noble one," then the demon of compassion has entered one's heart. Seeing people, compassion arises and tears flow unceasingly. One loses the rank of the correct path and falls into straying into the wrong path. Again, good, within that samadhi, sons of the lineage see the aggregate of form as pacified, and the aggregate of feeling as clear and purified. From the manifestation of the marks of the Victorious Ones, a mind arises that cannot be moved for even a moment. Courageously and swiftly persevering, one thinks that one is equal to all the Buddhas. One thinks that one can pass through countless eons in an instant. This is called surpassing all distinctions by the excess of the swiftness of qualities. In this, feeling is not a fault, nor is it becoming a noble one. If one is consumed by feeling, one will not be mistaken, and after a long time, it will become peaceful and arise. If one thinks, "I am a noble one," then the demon of madness has entered one's heart. Seeing people, one becomes satiated and arrogance arises, and an unparalleled sense of conceit arises, and one does not make the Buddha one's teacher.
