The Great Uṣṇīṣa of the Bhagavan, the meaning of the Tathāgata's secret accomplishment, the cause for manifest attainment, the conduct of all Bodhisattvas, the Sūtra of Heroic Progress, Chapter Ten of the Hundred Thousand Chapters. In Tibetan: The Great Uṣṇīṣa of the Bhagavan, the meaning of the Tathāgata's secret accomplishment, the cause for manifest attainment, the conduct of all Bodhisattvas, the Sūtra of Heroic Progress, Chapter Ten of the Hundred Thousand Chapters. Volume One. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Then, at that time, the body of the Tathāgata, like a mountain of pure gold, rose again from the sacred Dharma seat, the lion throne, and invited the precious body image. Relying on that body image, he spoke to all the retinue, including Delightful One and others: You, learners and non-learners, and Pratyekabuddhas, should generate the unsurpassed great Bodhicitta and take up the sacred feeling. I have now finished explaining the Dharma of perfect enlightenment, but you still have not understood it. In the yoga of Śamatha and Vipaśyanā, the subtle and very subtle actions of Māras and the realm of Māras appear manifestly. If you cannot recognize them, then your mind is not considered to be properly tamed. Because you fall into wrong views, you are separated by the Māra of the aggregates, separated by the Māra of the gods, and blessed by pretas and asuras, who find an opportunity. If the mind does not perceive inwardly, it mistakes a thief for a son. Furthermore, if one is satisfied with having gained only a small amount of knowledge, thinking it is enough, it is the same as attachment to the four dhyānas. That is a monk who has broken his vows, falsely claiming to have attained the noble state, thus lying. At the time when the lifespan of the gods is exhausted, ominous signs also appear. Accusing an Arhat of taking another body in the future, one will fall into the Avīci hell. Listen and think carefully, and keep it in mind. Now I will explain it to you in detail. Thus he spoke.

Thus he spoke. Ananda rose from his seat. Those among the retinue who were in harmony with the teachings were also overjoyed, bowed their heads, and with body and mind exceedingly respectful and delighted, listened again from the Blessed One's compassionate contemplation. Thereafter, the Blessed One addressed Ananda and all the retinue, saying: You should know. The pure sensation of intrinsic nature, the expansive sensation of Suchness, is not separate nor different from all the Buddhas of the ten directions, and also not separate nor different from the sentient world of the twelve classes of beings, but from the fault of mistaken notions about what is not real, dullness and craving arise and are born. Having arisen and occurred in this way, therefore, emptiness becomes existent in its own right, and everything is a delusion. Because of delusion, falsity continues uninterrupted, and therefore the world arises. Therefore, even the realms of the dust motes of the ten directions are not without outflows. Such a one is a deluded ordinary person; know that they establish the tenets of unreal thoughts. The emptiness of space arises from within your own mind. For example, if a cloud suddenly arises in the sky, it is like all the beings of the world dwelling within it. If some of you do not turn towards this reality, then all the emptiness of the ten directions will also be pacified and purified. Why should all the places of the realm of space be shaken? They will no longer be shaken. Bodhisattvas and Arhats who have exhausted the outflows of the ten directions, you practice meditation and the yoga of samadhi, and when the mind and the field, even Suchness, become a single-pointed samadhi, then all the kings of demons, and the houses of gods, humans, asuras, inferior sentient beings, etc., will all collapse, and the great earth will also shake violently. Those who dwell in water, those who dwell on land, and those who fly in the sky, why do they collapse and shake? Asuras, pretas, and the demons of the gods also shake violently because of hatred. Even if you have come to harm those who are practicing meditation, if you can touch the essence of sensation from within the defilements of habitual signs, then because of this, the light wind
