They will say that it was not spoken by... Like this, foolish people, with little merit, perverse wisdom, dull like sheep, completely lost wisdom, those who denigrate the true Dharma will appear. Sons of the gods, furthermore, monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen, with little merit, inferior wisdom, perverse wisdom, dull wisdom, little wisdom, completely lost wisdom, who have not done deeds for the previous victors, who have completely fallen away from the supreme precious Dharma, who have completely become outsiders from the precious Dharma, who have completely abandoned the precious Dharma, with small roots of virtue, difficult to tame like hungry vultures, unruly ones will appear. Male and female servants being completely possessed will appear. Wealth and gold being completely possessed will appear. Conch shells, agates, and corals being completely possessed will appear. Cattle and buffalo being completely possessed will appear. Field objects being completely possessed will appear. Many objects of dwelling places such as swans, geese, and pigs being completely possessed will appear. Those who cause the performance of sixteen great deeds will also appear. Those who rely on kings will also appear. Those who act as messengers will also appear. Those who cause the mixing of poisons will also appear. Those who do many non-monk deeds and cause others to do them will also appear. Like this, when foolish people completely increase, and when the true Dharma completely declines, a monk similar to Mahakashyapa will be born in Jambudvipa, appearing among my Shravakas, gradually, among the unruly ones who are difficult to tame like hungry vultures, praising the sutras spoken by the Tathagata, binding with the Pratimoksha vows, and finally, even at the cost of their own lives, praising the established precepts. After that, there will be praise of the tree. Similarly, there will be praise of the broom heap and the dwelling place in the monastery, and of taming, and taming the untamed.

It will also cut off. Sons of gods, since you have gained faith in my Śrāvakayāna Mahāyāna Dharma, you should always protect the one who desires to be a monk and abides in loving-kindness. The sons of gods said: World Honored One, we will also serve and honor the one who desires to be a monk and abides in loving-kindness, and we will always protect him. World Honored One, we will also use the power of the Buddha to subdue the evil demons. As for the non-Dharma side, the head of famine, the untamable and fierce ones, we will also drive them out of the country. The World Honored One said to the sons of gods: Well done! Well done! Since you have vowed and made aspirations, the gods will also protect the virtuous man who desires to be a monk. The gods will also praise his merits. The Tathagata also thought: He is my Śrāvaka, a diligent practitioner of asceticism. Then he praised him. The World Honored One again said to the sons of gods: Sons of gods, a virtuous man who desires the benefit of sentient beings should always protect the true Dharma. Then, many sons of gods covered the World Honored One with a precious umbrella and made this request: World Honored One, how long will it be before a monk like the son of the Tathagata, Mahākāśyapa, will appear? Where will he be born? What should his name be called? The World Honored One said to the sons of gods: Sons of gods, after my passing, after many hundreds of thousands of years, in the southern region, there will appear a city lord named Sukhacharin. At that time, at the age of eighty, when the true Dharma is about to disappear, and only a small part remains, my Śrāvaka will appear, and he will also promote the true Dharma. He will also turn the wheel of Dharma. He will also widely explain the Mahāyāna Dharma to others. After hearing the explanation of such sūtras, those who have heard the Dharma from the Buddhas of the past will also uphold it in the future. They will make it understood. They will hold it. They will recite it. They will believe in it. Sentient beings
