Even each steadfast man, As many as the sands of the Ganges, Their own groups of tongues, For the sake of the names of the sutras, Have been blessed, and By the methods of all those, Those supreme men, Each of the sutras, Even just the name, in order to learn, With hundreds of millions of years, All those such men, Even if they hold names like waterfalls, They are not able to reach the end, The sutras of the Lord are inconceivable. The number of samadhi is also the same, The description of secrets is inconceivable. The Buddhas are countless inconceivable. The Tathagatas are immeasurable. The realm of the Buddhas is inconceivable. Incomparable and extremely past. The past is also immeasurable. Those that occur in the present are also inconceivable. The future is also inconceivable. Even in the world, they are inconceivable. Just as a physician arises, And a scholar, knowing the disease, Estimating from the patient's condition, Shows the method of treatment in order, and Just as a learned woman, Knowing the condition of her son, Applies butter to the tip of her finger, Tells him to lick it, in the same way, The Lord Buddha also, Knowing the condition of the disciples, Shows the words and meanings of the sutras, Which are tolerable by beings. Then at that time, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Great Cloud Essence said to the Lord: Lord, the inconceivable realm of the Tathagatas, even more inconceivable, the Great Cloud Sutra, Having well seen the compassion towards all beings, what the Tathagatas have said is wonderful. In whatever village, city, countryside, or royal palace this Great Cloud Sutra is extensively practiced, expounded, or taught by a bhikshu, bhikshuni, upasaka, or upasika, there the assemblies of great clouds will make the sound of thunder in the sky, making the sound of diri riri, and will also cause rain to fall at unusual times. The ground will also become the nature of vajra. Those sentient beings will also become the nature of vajra. If sentient beings hear three or seven words from this Great Cloud Sutra, all the Buddhas will rejoice in those sentient beings, what need is there to mention extensively explaining it? Cloud Essence! In the Great Cloud Sutra, there is a samadhi called "Profound and Stable Water Sea Time." Those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who realize that samadhi will always attain the qualities of the Tathagata. They will also become hearers and so forth. They will also never degenerate from the Dharmas of the Tathagata. Wisdom will also not degenerate. Awareness will also not degenerate. They will also become the constant, stable, firm, peaceful nature of the Tathagata, and wise ones who can clearly distinguish the accumulation of qualities. They will also not be separated from hearing the Dharma and serving the Sangha. They will also be diligent in the four objects of attraction.
