长久沉睡于无知之中的众生， 您使他们觉醒，是怙主您啊！ 成为亲友的您，我顶礼赞！ 您的这些殊胜之子们， 一切都为了菩提而进入（此地）， 如果想要听闻圣法， 祈请引导者为他们开示。 此后，菩萨普除一切障碍，以与正理相应的偈颂赞叹世尊后，世尊应允，（菩萨）便在莲花藏上于一侧安坐。所有这些菩萨也经世尊应允后，各自随意地安坐在莲花藏上。之后，菩萨普除一切障碍从座位上起身，将袈裟搭于一肩，右膝着地于莲花藏上，向着世尊所在的方向合掌，向世尊如此禀告道：如果为了请问之后能得到授记，世尊您能允许我，我将向世尊如来、阿罗汉、正等觉请问一些问题。如此禀告之后，世尊对菩萨普除一切障碍如此说道：善男子，如来恒时都允许你。向如来请问你想要问的一切，我将以你所问的那些问题和授记来使你心满意足。世尊应允之后，菩萨普除一切障碍向世尊如此禀告道：世尊，如何才是菩萨摩诃萨圆满的布施？如何才是圆满的戒律？如何才是圆满的忍辱？如何才是圆满的精进？如何才是圆满的禅定？如何才是圆满的智慧？如何才是圆满的方便？如何才是圆满的愿？如何才是圆满的力量？如何 才是圆满的智慧？世尊。

Those who have long been asleep in ignorance, You awaken them, you are the protector! To you who have become a friend, I prostrate and praise! These supreme sons of yours, All have entered (here) for the sake of enlightenment, If they wish to hear the sacred Dharma, I pray that the guide will reveal it to them. Thereafter, the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin, praised the Blessed One with verses that corresponded to the Dharma. The Blessed One granted permission, and (the Bodhisattva) sat down on one side of the lotus matrix. All of those Bodhisattvas, having been granted permission by the Blessed One, sat down each in their own way on the lotus matrix. Then, the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, placed his right knee on the lotus matrix, and, with his palms joined, bowed towards the Blessed One and said to the Blessed One: "If, after asking, it is for the sake of prophesying the request, if the Blessed One would grant me the opportunity, I would ask the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, some questions." After he had said this, the Blessed One said to the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin: "Noble son, the Tathagatas always grant you the opportunity. Ask the Tathagata whatever you wish to ask, and I will satisfy your mind with those questions and prophecies that you ask." After the Blessed One had granted permission, the Bodhisattva Sarvanivaranaviskambhin said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, how are the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas' perfections of generosity? How are the perfections of morality? How are the perfections of patience? How are the perfections of diligence? How are the perfections of meditation? How are the perfections of wisdom? How are the perfections of skillful means? How are the perfections of aspiration? How are the perfections of power? How are the perfections of wisdom? Blessed One."

How are Bodhisattvas like the earth? How are they like water? How are they like fire? How are they like wind? How are they like the sky? How are they like the moon? How are they like the sun? How are they like lions? How are they the tamed? How are they the intelligent? How are they like lotuses? Blessed One, how are Bodhisattvas those with vast minds? How are they those with completely pure minds? How are they those with fearless minds? Blessed One, how are Bodhisattvas those with wisdom like the ocean? How are they those with subtle wisdom? Blessed One, how are Bodhisattvas those with eloquence in reasoning? How are they those with eloquence in liberation? How are they those with eloquence in purity? How are they those with eloquence that pleases all sentient beings? Blessed One, how are Bodhisattvas those who grasp words well? Blessed One, how are Bodhisattvas those who proclaim the Dharma? How are they those who follow the Dharma? How are they those who are skilled in the realm of Dharma? Blessed One, how are Bodhisattvas those whose field of activity is emptiness? Now, great lords, how are those who are skilled in the path? How are those who show the path without deviation? Blessed One, how are those Bodhisattvas who constantly and uninterruptedly keep their minds in equanimity? Blessed One, how are those Bodhisattvas who hold a fly-whisk? How are those who possess the three Dharma robes? How are those who wear felt? Blessed One, how are those Bodhisattvas who are almsmen? How are those who use a single seat? How are those who do not take food after eating? Blessed One, how are those Bodhisattvas who live in solitude? How are those who live under trees? How are those who have no shelter? How are those who live in cemeteries? How are those who sit cross-legged? How are those who abide in the basis as it is? Blessed One, how are those Bodhisattvas who practice yoga? How are those who hold the Sutras? How are those who hold the Vinaya? How are those who hold the Mothers? How are those who are perfect in ritual, sphere of activity, conduct, and behavior? How are those who are free from stinginess and jealousy? How are those who have equanimity towards all beings? How are those who are skilled in offering and serving the Tathagatas? How are those who have conquered pride? How are those who have great faith? How are those who are skilled in conventional truth? How are those who are skilled in ultimate truth?
