and also do not arise from consciousness. Following the Dharma, they also do not arise from the desire realm. Following the Dharma, they also do not arise from the form realm. Following the Dharma, they also do not arise from the formless realm. Following the Dharma, they also do not arise from the Dharma. Following the Dharma, they also do not arise from transcending the Dharma. Following the Dharma, they also do not follow for the sake of sentient beings. Following the Dharma, they also do not follow for the sake of nihilistic views. Following the Dharma, they also do not arise from the path, because of the wisdom that possesses skillful means. Son of the lineage, bodhisattvas who possess these ten dharmas are those who follow the Dharma. Son of the lineage, bodhisattvas who possess ten dharmas are those who are skilled in the realm of Dharma. What are the ten? They are: those who possess wisdom. Those who are embraced by virtuous friends. Those who have exerted diligence. Those who are free from all obscurations. Those who are extremely pure. Those who possess instructions. Those who meditate extensively on emptiness. Those who are free from observing objects. Those who have entered the path. Those who see reality as it is. Son of the lineage, bodhisattvas who possess wisdom seek virtuous friends. When they see virtuous friends, they rejoice and are delighted. They generate the perception of a teacher towards them and rely on them. Because they rely on virtuous friends, they exert diligence in order to abandon all non-virtuous dharmas and to perfect all virtuous dharmas. Because they exert diligence, all obscurations will subside. Because there are no obscurations and the continuity of the path is not severed, they will become extremely pure and free from the misdeeds of body, speech, and mind. Because they are extremely pure, they possess instructions. Because they possess instructions, they meditate extensively on emptiness. Because they meditate extensively on emptiness, they will not become observers of objects. Because they are free from observing objects, they enter the path. Because they have entered the path, they see reality as it is. Bodhisattva

Praying, to completely eliminate all obstacles. Blessed One, what is called "Only This"? The Blessed One said: Son of good family, this is how it is. What is called "Only This" is a supreme term for the true meaning. Praying, Blessed One, what is called "True"? The Blessed One said: Son of good family, whatever does not deceive is true. Praying, Blessed One, what is called "Non-deceptive"? The Blessed One said: That is Suchness, non-erroneous is Suchness, non-other is Suchness. Praying, Blessed One, what is called "Suchness"? The Blessed One said: Son of good family, this Dharma is known individually by oneself. This cannot be taught by letters. Why is that? This Dharma is completely beyond all letters, completely beyond all speech, completely beyond all realms of words, completely beyond all paths of speech, free from all elaboration, free from all acceptance and rejection, free from all opening and closing, free from all discriminations, not to be examined, not the realm of discrimination, completely beyond the realm of discrimination, without characteristics, free from characteristics, completely beyond the realm of characteristics, completely beyond the realm of children, completely beyond the realm of all demons, completely beyond the realm of all afflictions, completely beyond the realm of all consciousness, non-abiding, un-abiding, peaceful, the realm of the wisdom of the noble ones, known individually by themselves, immaculate, unpolluted, and completely pure, rich, supreme, sacred, excellent, permanent, stable, solid, the nature of imperishable Dharma, whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, this realm of Dharma is only abiding as it is. Son of good family, thus Bodhisattvas, having obtained this Dharma-nature, think that they will also firmly establish sentient beings in this very Dharma-nature. For what purpose do they strive and exert effort, initiate diligence, and perform hundreds of difficult deeds? Son of good family, that is Suchness.
