དབང་པོ་རྣོན་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནི་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་ཆོས་བཅུ་པོ་དེ་དག་དང་ལྡན་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ རྣམ་པར་དག་པའི་སྤོབས་པ་ཅན་རྣམས་ཡིན་ནོ། །རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་ཆོས་བཅུ་དང་ལྡན་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་པའི་སྤོབས་པ་ཅན་རྣམས་ཡིན་ནོ། །བཅུ་གང་ཞེ་ན། འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། འཇམ་པར་སྨྲ་བ་རྣམས་ཡིན། བཞིན་འཛུམ་ཞིང་ཁྲོ་གཉེར་མེད་པ་རྣམས་ཡིན། དོན་དུ་སྨྲ་བ་རྣམས་ཡིན། ཆོས་སུ་སྨྲ་བ་རྣམས་ཡིན། མཚུངས་པར་སྨྲ་བ་རྣམས་ཡིན། མི་ངོམས་པ་རྣམས་ཡིན། བརྙས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་རྣམས་ཡིན། ཉོན་མོངས་པར་འགྱུར་བ་མེད་པ་རྣམས་ཡིན། འཁྲུག་པ་མེད་པ་རྣམས་ཡིན། སྤོབས་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་པ་རྣམས་ཡིན་ནོ། །རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་འཇམ་པར་སྨྲ་བ་ནི། འཇམ་པར་སྨྲ་བས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ནི་བཞིན་འཛུམ་ཞིང་ཁྲོ་གཉེར་མེད་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། མདངས་བཟང་པོས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དོན་དུ་སྨྲ་བ་ནི་ཚིག་རན་པས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཆོས་སུ་སྨྲ་བ་ནི་ཕན་པར་སྨྲ་བས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་མཚུངས་པར་སྨྲ་བ་ནི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་མཚུངས་པར་ཆོས་སྟོན་པས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་མི་ངོམས་པ་ནི་ང་རྒྱལ་དང་དྲེགས་པ་དང་རྒྱགས་པ་དང་བྲལ་ཞིང་སྤྱོད་པ་མཚུངས་པས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་བརྙས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་ནི་རི་མོར་བྱས་ཤིང་ཆོས་བསྟན་པས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཉོན་མོངས་པར་འགྱུར་བ་མེད་པ་ནི་ངང་ཚུལ་དེས་པས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་འཁྲུག་པ་མེད་པ་ནི་བཟོད་པ་མང་བས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སྤོབས་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཅན་ནི་དགའ་བའི་ཚིག་གིས་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་ཆོས་བཅུ་པོ་དེ་དག་དང་ལྡན་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་མགུ་བར་བྱེད་པའི་སྤོབས་པ་ཅན་རྣམས་ཡིན་ནོ། །རིགས་ཀྱི་བུ་ཆོས་བཅུ་དང་ལྡན་ན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཚིག་གཟུང་བར་འགྱུར་བ་རྣམས་ཡིན་ནོ། །བཅུ་གང་ཞེ་ན། འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རྣམས་སྣོད་དུ་མ་གྱུར་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་ཆོས་མི་སྟོན་ཏེ། ཞེ་འགྲས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་མ་ཡིན། ཀླན་ཀ་ཚོལ་བ་རྣམས་ལ་མ་ཡིན། མུ་སྟེགས་ཅན་རྣམ

不是指根器敏锐者。种姓之子，如果具备这十种法，菩萨就是完全清净的无畏者。种姓之子，如果具备十种法，菩萨就是能令一切众生欢喜的无畏者。哪十种呢？即是：善言者；面带微笑，没有怒容者；说真实义者；说正法者；平等说者；不满足者；远离轻蔑者；不被烦恼染污者；没有争论者；具有各种无畏者。种姓之子，菩萨善言，以善言使众生欢喜。菩萨面带微笑，没有怒容，以美好的光彩使众生欢喜。菩萨说真实义，以适时之语使众生欢喜。菩萨说正法，以有益之语使众生欢喜。菩萨平等说，对一切众生平等说法，使众生欢喜。菩萨不满足，远离我慢、骄傲和自大，以平等的行为使众生欢喜。菩萨远离轻蔑，通过绘画和讲法使众生欢喜。菩萨不被烦恼染污，以坚定的意志使众生欢喜。菩萨没有争论，以广大的忍耐使众生欢喜。种姓之子，菩萨具有各种无畏，以欢喜之语使众生欢喜。种姓之子，如果具备这十种法，菩萨就是能令一切众生欢喜的无畏者。种姓之子，如果具备十种法，菩萨就是能被言语抓住者。哪十种呢？即是： 菩萨们不为不是法器的众生说法，不对怀有恶意者说，不对寻衅者说，不对外道徒说。

It is not referring to those with sharp faculties. Son of good family, if endowed with these ten dharmas, Bodhisattvas are those with perfectly pure fearlessness. Son of good family, if endowed with ten dharmas, Bodhisattvas are those with fearlessness that delights all sentient beings. What are the ten? They are: those who speak gently; those who smile and have no frowns; those who speak truthfully; those who speak of the Dharma; those who speak equally; those who are not satisfied; those who are free from contempt; those who are not defiled by afflictions; those who are without conflict; those who have various fearlessnesses. Son of good family, Bodhisattvas who speak gently delight sentient beings with gentle speech. Bodhisattvas who smile and have no frowns delight sentient beings with beautiful radiance. Bodhisattvas who speak truthfully delight sentient beings with timely words. Bodhisattvas who speak of the Dharma delight sentient beings with beneficial words. Bodhisattvas who speak equally delight sentient beings by teaching the Dharma equally to all sentient beings. Bodhisattvas who are not satisfied delight sentient beings by being free from pride, arrogance, and conceit, and by behaving equally. Bodhisattvas who are free from contempt delight sentient beings by making drawings and teaching the Dharma. Bodhisattvas who are not defiled by afflictions delight sentient beings with steadfast resolve. Bodhisattvas who are without conflict delight sentient beings with great patience. Son of good family, Bodhisattvas who have various fearlessnesses delight sentient beings with joyful words. Son of good family, if endowed with these ten dharmas, Bodhisattvas are those with fearlessness that delights all sentient beings. Son of good family, if endowed with ten dharmas, Bodhisattvas are those who can be grasped by words. What are the ten? They are: Bodhisattvas do not teach the Dharma to sentient beings who are not vessels, not to those who harbor malice, not to those who seek faults, not to non-Buddhists.
