The perfection of wisdom of the characteristics of all phenomena is. The perfection of wisdom that transcends the world is. Son of the lineage, how is it that a Bodhisattva's perfection of wisdom in the selflessness of the person? Son of the lineage, here, the Bodhisattva sees the aggregates arising as they truly are, and sees their destruction and cessation as they truly are. He sees the arising of the aggregates as without essence, without a maker, and without accumulation. He sees the cessation of the aggregates as destruction. He thinks thus: These aggregates are without self, without sentient beings, without life, without nourishment, and without a person. However, these childish ordinary beings are attached to the appearance of self-grasping, thinking, "Our aggregates are the self, our aggregates have a self, our self has aggregates, our self possesses aggregates." Because they are attached to the appearance of self-grasping, they do not understand suchness. Because they do not understand suchness, they wander in samsara like a wheel of fire. The Bodhisattva fully understands all of that as it truly is. Thus, the Bodhisattva has the perfection of wisdom in the selflessness of the person. How is it that a Bodhisattva has the perfection of wisdom in the selflessness of phenomena? Here, the Bodhisattva fully understands the superimposition on phenomena and the defamation of phenomena as they truly are. He thinks thus: Names are assigned to imputations of phenomena that arise suddenly, but that phenomenon is not its own nature, and those letters are not its own nature. But this is merely a name and a convention. Here, the

One should not be attached to that (view). The suddenly arising dharma is not entirely non-existent either. Rather, it exists as a dharma that depends on other causes, abides in other causes, arises from other causes, and ceases when separated from causes. The Bodhisattva fully understands all of this as it is. Thus, the Bodhisattva possesses the perfection of wisdom in the selflessness of dharmas. How does the Bodhisattva possess the perfection of wisdom that is not one-instant? The Bodhisattva's one-instant wisdom does not only enter in one instant and not enter in the second instant. Rather, the Bodhisattva's wisdom, once seen, enters unobstructed in all instants. Thus, the Bodhisattva possesses the perfection of wisdom that is not one-instant. How does the Bodhisattva possess the perfection of wisdom in the realm of meditative absorption? Here, the Bodhisattva also fully understands the meditative absorptions of the Hearers, also fully understands the meditative absorptions of the Solitary Buddhas, also fully understands the meditative absorptions of the Bodhisattvas, and also fully understands the meditative absorptions of the Thus-Gone Ones. He also fully understands what meditative absorption and what realm of meditative absorption the Hearers practice. He also fully understands what meditative absorption and what realm of meditative absorption the Solitary Buddhas practice. He also fully understands what meditative absorption and what realm of meditative absorption the Bodhisattvas practice. He also fully understands what meditative absorption and what realm of meditative absorption the Thus-Gone Ones practice. If the Thus-Gone One explains, then the meditative absorption of the Thus-Gone One is fully understood, but not through one's own wisdom accomplished by maturation. Other meditative absorptions are fully understood through one's own wisdom accomplished by maturation. Thus, the Bodhisattva possesses the perfection of wisdom in the realm of meditative absorption. How does the Bodhisattva possess the perfection of wisdom of empowerment? Here, the Bodhisattva also fully understands the empowerment of the Hearers as it is.

Yes, one fully knows the blessings of the Pratyekabuddhas as they are, and fully knows the blessings of the Bodhisattvas as they are. What need to mention other beings who are not like that? Thus, the Bodhisattva is perfect in the wisdom of blessings. How is the Bodhisattva perfect in the wisdom that cannot be stolen? Here, the wisdom of the Bodhisattva cannot be stolen by all the heretics, all the demons, the Shravakas, and all the Pratyekabuddhas. Thus, the Bodhisattva is perfect in the wisdom that cannot be stolen. How is the Bodhisattva perfect in the wisdom of observing the conduct of all sentient beings? Here, the Bodhisattva, with wisdom completely pure and a land without defilement, observes the realms of sentient beings. There, he sees sentient beings, some who have generated the mind of enlightenment, some who have not generated the mind of enlightenment, some who have cultivated the mind of enlightenment, some who have not cultivated the mind of enlightenment, some who abide on the first ground, some who abide between the ten grounds, some who have manifestly and perfectly awakened, some who have manifestly and perfectly awakened and turn the wheel of Dharma, some who have accomplished all deeds and completely passed into Nirvana, some who completely pass into Nirvana by the vehicle of the Shravakas, some who completely pass into Nirvana by the vehicle of the Pratyekabuddhas, some who are born in the happy realms, and some who are seen to be born in the evil realms. Thus, one observes the conduct of all sentient beings. Thus, the Bodhisattva is perfect in the wisdom of observing the conduct of all sentient beings. How is the Bodhisattva perfect in the wisdom that is spontaneously accomplished? Here, when the Bodhisattva walks, stands, sits, goes, or comes, wisdom arises spontaneously. For example, the exhalation and inhalation of a person turning over in sleep arise spontaneously. The wisdom of the Bodhisattva is to be seen in the same way. That wisdom is also in all places.
