Such abodes, with their quietness and seclusion, are where he dwells. Then, King Prasenajit of Kosala said to Saga the young noble: "Saga the young noble, restrain my retinue." Then, King Prasenajit of Kosala saw the Blessed One, the all-knowing, all-seeing one, dwelling in Jeta's Grove in Prince Jeta's Park, surrounded by a community of monks, with the community of monks looking ahead, surrounded by a multitude of divine retinues looking ahead, teaching the Dharma. Then, King Prasenajit of Kosala was delighted and overjoyed, and at that time, he spoke these verses: Shining and clear, radiating light. Unmoved by all external adversaries, like the full moon in the midst of the retinue. The holy person dwells distinctly. When you teach the holy Dharma, you are renowned in all ten directions, having utterly vanquished all the leaders of the demon armies, you stand out like a golden mountain. Like the Naga king dwelling unmoving, the disciples of Gautama are invincible. The sons who delight in peace delight in peace, among them, the Victor's speech is beautiful. Rightly teaching virtues, renowned in the world, thus the Victor, Shakyamuni, dwells distinctly. Just as Mount Meru rises in the ocean, adorned with various jewels. Likewise, the Shakya lion is eminent in the world, you dwell distinctly, surpassing all beings. Just as a lotus is not stained by water, likewise, you dwell unstained in the world. Just as Mount Meru is always adorned, you are completely adorned by true excellence. Thus, the Victor is surrounded by wise ones, eminent among the retinue of gods and men. In the abode of the Thirty-three, there is a gathering tree, flowers blooming, beautifully adorned, appearing exceedingly beautiful. Likewise, in the retinue of gods and men, the Shakya lion is adorned by his name. A radiant, eight-faceted beryl jewel, placed on a silk cloth of Dugulakashi, like those who are not stained, the Arhats, like a mirror, their minds are pure and without stain. Those disciples of yours, dwell having cultivated loving-kindness. The steadfast disciples delight in wisdom, hear

Without delusion, please show the teachings. The king is also present here. However, they have not perceived it. Those disciples who are Shravakas, Are peaceful and do not abide in all dharmas. I prostrate to you, who know everything, I prostrate to you, the supreme being. Meditating on the body with wisdom, Abiding with the body of wisdom. Attaining perfect enlightenment with the body of wisdom, The holy body remains for three months. Speaking of perfect enlightenment is most supreme, Possessing wisdom is always beautiful. In the future, from wisdom, Degenerate monks will also arise. Knowing the reckless and those of inferior faculties, And the reckless monks, The Victorious One, with one alms bowl, Remains in samadhi for three months. In the future, towards material possessions, Greedy and attached monks will arise, The Victorious One, with one alms bowl for three months, Remains in the victorious samadhi. For the sake of the monks of the future, You spoke these words. At that time, those who have faith, Will diligently practice this doctrine. If there are beings without faith, Even after hearing these dharmas, They will not rejoice, Therefore, this is done to encourage them. Second Chapter. Then, King Prasenajit of Kosala went to where the Blessed One was, and having arrived, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One. With a mind of devotion, he again bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One. Having seen the Blessed One with a mind of devotion, he again bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One, and said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, I am the king of Kosala. Blessed One, I am the king of Kosala, and I bow my head at the feet of the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One said to King Prasenajit of Kosala: Great King, be satisfied with reverence, painting, and offerings! Be satisfied, Great King, sit on your own seat. Then, King Prasenajit of Kosala sat before him, gazing at the Blessed One without blinking his eyes. After gazing, he took the priceless jewel-like clothes in his hand, and took off whatever clothes he was wearing on his body.
