What are they? Manjushri, the Tathagatas are not past, not future, not present. Any dharma that is empty in the three times cannot be seen. Thus he spoke. Again, Manjushri, if one says one sees the Tathagata, with which eye-consciousness does one see the Tathagata? Does one see with the eye of flesh? Or does one see with the divine eye? If one sees with the eye of flesh, the eye of flesh is empty, and emptiness cannot be seen. If one sees with the divine eye, then if one considers it to be the divine eye, one will have the thought that it is the divine eye. One cannot see the Tathagata with the eye of discrimination. He said: Son of good family, since you explain everything as emptiness, then no one will be able to see the Tathagata or make offerings to the Tathagata. Son of good family, the words Tathagata, Buddha, sentient being, debate, offering, seeing, etc., any small utterance, statement, or expression, all those letters are empty in their nature. Therefore, the term called equality does not disturb suchness, it does not change suchness. Those of you who can endure, stay. Those who cannot endure, leave. I am leaving. Then Manjushri, the youth, because he was not satisfied with the Dharma, became non-dual and became one. By the power of the Buddha, none of the retinue left. Then Manjushri, the youth, like a strong man extending his arm and retracting it, or retracting it and extending it, in that snap of the fingers, instant, or moment, Manjushri, the youth, disappeared from the Saha world and went to the world of Universal Light. Then Manjushri, the youth, circled the three thousand great thousand worlds seven times, bowed his head at the feet of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and sat to one side. Also at that time, on the right side of the Bhagavat Tathagata Entering Desire King, there was a sister named Remover of Doubt, sitting in the lotus position, and she...

There, he entered into the samadhi called 'Appearing without Stain, Like the Light of the Moon.' Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Entering Desire King thought to himself, "This Manjushri, the youthful one, is praised by all the Buddhas, the Bhagavats, and honored by me. He is patient with the profound and dwells in emptiness." Thinking thus, "This one has come from the realm of the Saha world, moved by great attachment and possessed of great self-grasping. I will throw him to the summit of the iron mountain range, and from this, I will begin to teach the profound Dharma, so that it will also be shown to future beings and future Bodhisattvas. Why is that? Because the Dharma of the Buddha is inconceivable and so profound that even the supreme one who dwells in emptiness, like Manjushri, the youthful one, will be thrown to the summit of the iron mountain range." Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Entering Desire King spoke these words to Manjushri, the youthful one: "Manjushri, not seeing the power of what meaning have you come here?" Manjushri replied: "Bhagavan, I was in the realm of the Saha world, and I thought to myself, 'It is rare for the Buddhas, the Bhagavats, to appear in the world. It is also rare to hear the Dharma. In the world realm called 'All-Illuminating,' countless and innumerable Buddhas, the Bhagavats, from the ten directions have gathered. Having gathered, they are expounding the Dharma category called 'Buddha Debate.' I thought to myself that I would like to see those Tathagatas and listen to those Dharma teachings. Therefore, Bhagavan, I have come to this Buddha-field for the sake of hearing the Dharma.'" Then, the Bhagavan Tathagata Entering Desire King, at that time, in any way, manifested the manifestation of miraculous power, and because of the manifestation of miraculous power, Manjushri, the youthful one, was thrown to the summit of the iron mountain range. He did not even know where he was taken and carried, and in such a way, he was quickly lifted up and manifested the manifestation of miraculous power of throwing. Then, Manjushri, the youthfu

When thrown to the summit of Mount Rāpa, he thought to himself: By what cause and what condition was I thrown from such a great assembly of the Buddha, which is so beautiful, so magnificent, like great elephants, to this summit of Mount Rāpa? Who threw me to the summit of Mount Rāpa? After thinking in this way, he thought to himself: It was the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, King Entering Desire, who threw me to the summit of Mount Rāpa. Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta thought to himself: I was thrown from that assembly, but the sister Doubt-cutter is sitting in the presence of the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, King Entering Desire, in the lotus position. The sister was not thrown, but I was thrown. Why is it that she was not thrown, but I was thrown? Is it that the sister is one whose roots of virtue are extremely blazing, who is extremely tolerant of the profound? Am I not such a one? Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta thought to himself: I should generate the power of miraculous abilities and return to that assembly. Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta, at that time, manifested what kind of manifestation of miraculous abilities? With a single thought, from the east, having passed as many Buddha-fields as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, he manifested such a manifestation of miraculous abilities, but even so, he could not reach that Buddha-field, not even as small as a part of the tip of a hair. What need is there to mention returning to that assembly? Such a thing is impossible. Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta went to all the boundless and limitless realms of the ten directions, but he could not return to that assembly by the power and blessing of the Buddha. Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta went to hundreds of thousands of billions of Buddha-fields in the ten directions, and then sat again on the summit of Mount Rāpa, thinking to himself: The blessing of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, is so powerful that I cannot suppress it with my miraculous abilities. The Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, are also without fault. Thus it is.
