Born among the foolish, he became completely without a tongue. That monk, whose life was completely pure, spoke the Dharma before five hundred trillion Buddhas, and was completely endowed with the five superknowledges. Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, were worthy of being tamed. He also taught the Dharma with complete purity regarding all dharmas. Maitreya, do you think that the monk named "Completely Pure Life" was someone else at that time? You should not see it that way. That Tathagata Amitabha was the monk who spoke the Dharma, named "Completely Pure Life," at that time. Maitreya, do you think that the monk named "Dharma" was someone else at that time? You should not see it that way. I was the monk named "Dharma" at that time. Such an improper behavior arose from myself. Maitreya, the karmic obscuration of being impoverished by the Dharma is so difficult to know. Due to the ripening of that karma, I attained complete enlightenment and Buddhahood in the age of the five degenerations. Maitreya, those Bodhisattvas who divide into two and teach the Dharma, due to the ripening of that karma, will attain complete enlightenment and Buddhahood in the age of the degenerate times. In those Buddha-fields, there will be many demonic obstacles and hindrances to attaining enlightenment and teaching the Dharma. Then, that assembly, complete with everything, shed tears and cried out, saying, "From now on, let no one teach the Dharma as the monk Dharma has spoken!" At that time, the Bodhisattvas, the great beings gathered in that assembly, also rose from their seats and sat on the ground. Having sat on the ground, they also wept. Then, the Bhagavan, knowing full well, said to those Bodhisattvas, "Sons of good family, why are you sitting on the ground and weeping?" They replied, "Bhagavan, we ourselves see that we are endowed with that karmic obscuration." The Bhagavan said, "Sons of good family, it is just so. After the Tathagata Dipamkara had completely passed into Nirvana."

In his scriptures, there was a Dharma speaker named Wisdom Accumulation, whom you slandered. Since then, you have never seen the Buddha. You have never attained the mind of enlightenment. You have never attained dharani (གཟུངས་，梵文天城体：धरण，梵文罗马拟音：dharaṇi，汉语字面意思：holding) and samadhi (ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་，梵文天城体：समाधि，梵文罗马拟音：samādhi，汉语字面意思：concentration). Sons of good family, even if you truly enter my enlightenment, in this Fortunate Aeon, when the Tathagatas appear until the last one, you will attain the forbearance of non-arising dharmas. After that, after countless three great asamkhyeya kalpas, you will manifest complete perfect enlightenment. Sons of good family, therefore, those Bodhisattvas, when they see a Bodhisattva, should not think of anything else in their minds. They should think, "We have seen a stupa, or we have seen a Tathagata. We think that the Buddha is dwelling before us." Sons of good family, if a Bodhisattva sees a Bodhisattva, he should not generate any other thought except to generate the thought of a stupa or the thought of a Tathagata. If it is otherwise, the Bodhisattva will injure himself. Considering this, the Tathagata Akshobhya made a vow: "If I see a Bodhisattva who has generated the mind of enlightenment for the first time, and I do not generate the thought of a Buddha, then may I have deceived all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who dwell in countless realms of the world." Sons of good family, in the future age, in the last five hundred years of the degenerate age, whoever attains dharani (གཟུངས་，梵文天城体：धरण，梵文罗马拟音：dharaṇi，汉语字面意思：holding) or attains samadhi (ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་，梵文天城体：समाधि，梵文罗马拟音：samādhi，汉语字面意思：concentration), all of these will be attained through the power of the Tathagata. Sons of good family, therefore, whoever speaks unpleasant words to a Dharma speaker, that person will abandon the Tathagata. Sons of good family, whoever teaches the Dharma of the Tathagata according to the wishes of sentient beings, all of these are the power of the Tathagata. In any assembly where the Mahayana Bodhisattvas sometimes have goosebumps or sometimes shed tears, all of these should be understood as the power of the Tathagata. To that, a foolish person should not think that it is not a Bodhisattva, but rather a Bodhi-
