Looking ahead, in the future, it will become like me. Why is that? Whichever of your other names are heard by monks, nuns, laymen, or laywomen, and all those sentient beings, will be separated from the pain of desire, hatred, and ignorance. Therefore, Kāśyapa, you should also request this sutra and propagate it in the world for a long time. Reporting: World Honored One, if that is the case, please explain to me in detail some parts of the Great Drum Sutra. Kāśyapa, the time has come for you to ask me about some parts. Kāśyapa reported, saying: Good, and then asked this. World Honored One, wherever there is existence, there is suffering. Wherever there is non-existence, there is no suffering. Nirvana is the supreme bliss. In order to abandon suffering and happiness, it transforms into supreme Nirvana. If there is existence, there is happiness and suffering. If there is no existence, there is no happiness and suffering. Therefore, those who wish to attain Nirvana, sons of good family should completely cut off the desire for existence. What is the meaning of this teaching? Here, it is well taught in verses: All craving is impermanent and unstable, and everything is without essence, therefore, whatever exists is suffering, and wherever there is non-existence, there is no suffering. If it is not existence, there is no suffering. Here, if there is existence, it turns into suffering, therefore, one should not develop attachment to existence, nor should one trust in all existences. World Honored One, please show the truth of existence and non-existence, and the transformation of happiness and suffering into existence. After saying this, the World Honored One instructed the great Elder Kāśyapa in this way: Kāśyapa, like this, the meaning of this word is the meaning of a firm word, so for a while, you, Kāśyapa, will not understand. Most sentient beings do not want to cut off existence, sentient beings are threaded by the thread of conditioned aggregates. Nirvana without existence is the supreme bliss. Kāśyapa reported, saying: Who attains Nirvana? Nirvana is non-abiding. For it, happiness is just a name, and people cannot experience it. The World Honored One taught: Liberation is firm, not just a name. It exists.

Without beginning and the basis of permanence. Therefore, this is not the realm of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, nor is it the field of activity. Question: Blessed One, how is form also permanent? The Blessed One said: O Surakshita, for example, from a southern country called the place of destruction of living beings, some other sentient beings came. Some people asked that person: Where did you come here from? Then he said: I came from the place of destruction of living beings in the south. People also said: Which direction is that place in? Then that person pointed to the sky of the southern road with his finger. O Surakshita, would that person believe that person? Why is that? If you go, you will see it. O Surakshita, likewise, before you have seen it, believe with faith. The second chapter of the Holy Great Drum Sutra. Then the Blessed One spoke this verse: Just as pointing to the sky with a finger. Likewise, liberation is only shown by name. Just like the person who destroys living beings in the south. Likewise, I came from without support. O Surakshita, if you can see the meaning of this. The reason is that there is a need or no need. For the meaning that has not manifested. Cause and condition are also the same. O Surakshita, therefore, the Tathagata Blessed One closely shows the meaning of the word liberation with many causes. He said: O Surakshita, what do you think is the cause? Question: The cause is the agent. The Blessed One said: What is the synonym for condition? Question: Blessed One, condition is the basis. He said: O Surakshita, with rational examples. And closely combined with the cause. And the agent. Like that, what it is like, show it clearly like that. Question: Blessed One, for example, when a father and mother unite, a son will be born. Among them, the mother is the cause. The father is the condition. Therefore, the father and mother are the cause and condition of the son. Likewise, cause and condition will give rise to Dharma. This is called accomplishment. What does accomplishment mean? Accomplishment means
