དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ་བདག་ནི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་ན་གནས་མི་ཕོད་དོ། །དེ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན། བདག་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཁྱིམ་ན་གནས་པ་ནི་ཞགས་པའི་བཅིང་བས་བཅིངས་པ་བཞིན་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཅི་ཞིག་བྱ། དེས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བདག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བ་གླང་བཙའ་འམ། རྩྭ་རྔ་བའམ། ཕྱག་དར་དོར་བའམ། འབྲས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་རྨོ་བ་ལགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་བསམས་པ། ཨེ་མའོ་བསོད་ནམས་མ་བྱས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན། ཀྱི་ཧུད་རིམ་གྱིས་དུས་ཤེས་པར་བྱ་བ་ལས་གཞན་ནི་མི་ནུས་སོ་སྙམ་ནས་ལེགས་ཀྱིས་རེ་ཞིག་ཕྱག་དར་གྱི་ཕུང་པོ་དག་ཁོ་ན་ཕྱོགས་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་ཕྱིས་དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་གི་ཚེ་ཕྱག་དར་འཕྱག་པ་ན་མི་དེས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་འདོད་པ་མང་པོ་ལ་རྩེ་ཞིང་དགའ་བར་བྱེད་དེ་བདེ་བའི་ཡུལ་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བར་བྱེད་པ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །མཐོང་ནས་ཀྱང་བསམས་པ། ཇོ་བོས་བདག་ལ་ནོར་གྱི་མཛོད་མང་པོ་སྦྱིན་པར་འགྱུར་བ་འམ། ཡང་ན་བདག་བུ་ཉིད་དུ་བྱེད་པར་འདོད་ན་ཅི་མ་རུང་སྙམ་སྟེ། མི་དེ་དེ་ལྟར་སེམས་པ་ན་ཕྱག་དར་གྱི་ཕུང་པོ་དག་ཧ་ཅང་འཕྱག་པར་མི་བྱེད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་ཕས་དེའི་ལས་བྱེད་པ་དེ་དག་མཐོང་ནས་བསམས་པ་བདག་གི་བུ་འདི་ད་ནི་བཟང་པོའི་སྐལ་པ་ཡོད་དོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེ་ནས་དེའི་ཕས་བུ་དེ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཀྭའི་མི་ཁྱོད་དེ་རིང་གཞན་དུ་སེམས་སམ། ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ལས་ལེགས་པ་མི་བྱེད། དེས་སྨྲས་པ་དེ་བཞིན་ཏེ། བདག་དེ་རིང་ཉིད་དུ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བུ་ཉིད་དུ་ཁས་ལེན་པར་འདོད་དེ་དེས་ན་དེ་རིང་བདག་གི་སེམས་དེ་ལྟར་དད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ་ལེགས་སོ་ང་ནི་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕ་ཡིན་ལ། ཁྱོད་ནི་ངའི་བུ་ཡིན་ན་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ང་འདི་ལྟར་ཕན་པར་འདོད་ཅིང་རྗེས་སུ་བརྩེ་བ་ཡིན་པར་མ་ཤེས་སོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས། དེ་ནས་དེས་དེ་ལ་རང་དབང་བའི་ནོར་གྱི་མཛོད་མང་པོ་ཐམས་ཅད་བྱིན་ནས་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་ཆེན་པོའི་དབུས་སུ་དེ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱས་ཏེ། འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་འདི་ནི་བདག་གི་བུ་གཅིག་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། སྟོར་ནས་རིང་ཞིག་ལོན་པ་ལས་འདི་སླར་འཁོར་ཏེ། རང་གི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་ཞུགས་ནས་འདིས་འདི་ནི་བདག་གི་ཕའི་ཁྱིམ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་མ་ཤེས་མ་རྟོགས་ནས་དེའི་ཚེ་འདིས་ཁྱོད་ནི་བདག་གི་ཕའོ། །བདག་ནི་བུའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་མིང་ཡང་མི་འདོད་པ་ཉིད་ལས་ད་ལྟར་འདི་མོད་ལ་བུ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་ཚིག་ཏུ་སྨྲས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་དེ་ནས་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོས་ཀྱེ་མའོ་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ནི་ལས་རྣམ་པ་མང་པོ་དག་གིས་ཉོ

對此，他說：「我不能住在你家裡。」那是因為什麼呢？因為我住在你家裡，就像被繩索束縛一樣痛苦。然後，那家主人這樣說：「該怎麼辦呢？」他說：「我給你接生牛犢嗎？割草嗎？丟棄垃圾嗎？還是耕種稻田呢？」然後，那家主人心想：「唉，沒有積累福德的眾生啊！唉，只能逐漸地了解時機，其他無能為力。」心想著，就先好好地把垃圾堆積起來。然後，後來在另一個時候，當那個人在掃垃圾時，他看到那家主人在許多慾望中嬉戲玩樂，享受安樂的境界。看到後，他心想：「主人會給我許多財寶嗎？或者想讓我做他的兒子，那該多好啊！」那個人這樣想著，就不太認真地掃垃圾了。那時，他的父親看到他的工作，心想：「我的這個兒子現在有好的福分了。」然後，他的父親對那個兒子這樣說：「喂，你今天心裡在想什麼？為什麼不好好工作？」他說：「是的，我今天就想被你承認為兒子，所以今天我的心就這樣相信了。」他說：「很好，我是你的父親，你是我的兒子，你不知道我這樣幫助你，並且事後愛護你嗎？」說完，然後他把所有自主的財寶都給了他，並且在廣大的人群中公開宣布：「這是我唯一的兒子，走失很久之後，他回來了，進入自己的家，卻不知道、不明白這是我的父親的家，那時，他連『你是我的父親，我是你的兒子』這個名字都不想要，但現在他終於說自己是兒子了。」當他說這話時，許多人說：「唉，眾生被許多業所困擾啊！」

To this, he said, "I cannot stay in your house." Why is that? Because my staying in your house is as painful as being bound by a rope. Then, the householder said this: "What should I do?" He said this: "Shall I calve your cows? Cut grass? Throw away the trash? Or plow the rice fields?" Then, the householder thought, "Alas, a sentient being who has not accumulated merit! Alas, one can only gradually understand the timing, and nothing else can be done." Thinking this, he first carefully piled up the heaps of trash. Then, later at another time, when the man was sweeping the trash, he saw the householder playing and enjoying himself in many desires, experiencing a state of bliss. Having seen this, he thought, "Will the master give me many treasures? Or would he want to make me his son, how wonderful that would be!" As the man thought this, he did not sweep the heaps of trash very diligently. At that time, his father saw his work and thought, "This son of mine now has good fortune." Then, his father said to that son, "Hey, man, what are you thinking today? Why are you not doing your work well?" He said, "Yes, I want to be acknowledged as your son today, so today my mind has become so trusting." He said, "Very well, I am your father, and you are my son. Didn't you know that I help you in this way and cherish you afterwards?" Having said this, he then gave him all the independent treasures and publicly announced in the midst of a large crowd, "This is my only son, who was lost for a long time, and now he has returned, entering his own home, but he did not know or understand that this is my father's house. At that time, he did not even want the name 'You are my father, I am my son,' but now he finally says that he is a son." When he said this, many people said, "Alas, sentient beings are troubled by many kinds of karma!"
